GPRS? does is work? I have heard that BT Cellnet does not yet support it yet? is it ture?.....help,my does not work.

i have a 8310 and ia agree with you but the ringing volume is realy correct ( ican even say good compared to other phones )
and as i stored no message in my phone yet it is not slow at all , it is healthy as a hare ! :P

good points...1.the to do list is very handy and can send the notes to calender or send as texts ..(very handy) 2.battery lifetime is good even with above average use of the radio function....3message alert personal tone is good as no longer going for phone when other nokias are receiving txts.4.timed profiles handy so u can have it on silent etc at night or during meetings and not 4 get to switch back over, general can be set up on timer so when alarm goes in morning, its business as usual.5.phone book very good as u can have choice of phone memory or sim memory(i no nothing new there) but also both phone and sim memory, very handy 4 sorting out numbers and copying onto various sim cards e.t.c...6. vibration on games is a plus as it gives u that "dual shock " feeling...7.voice tags and voice commands appear 2 b a lot better than previous models of nokias 8210's 6210's e.t.c....8. stopwatch functions v.good lap timer and split timer e.t.c................
bad points..1.key lock needed all the time as buttons 1 and 3 sit slighly proud and without keylock these speed dials r easily rung whilst phone is in pocket. 2.no predictive txt message on calender and no view by weeks. ...3.ringing volume isnt that loud and not (personally) very fond of choice in ring tones i feel that they could have done better....4.. phone appears very slow now i have nearly the full amount of txts saved in various folders,checking in box seems to take ages just to open folder...very slow compared with other phones 3310 e.t.c (prob because all the messages i have stored, but thats 1 of the reasons i brought the phone 4 its storage capacity).
thats about all folks..... please feel free 2 e mail me with any remarks concerning the above or 4 any reason at all........look 4ward 2 hearing from some1 ...just 2 show all this typing wasnt a waste of time....jimbo...........

This phone is nothing special. Even the Siemens S45 is better, but the Ericsson T68 is the best of the lot!

im thinking of buying the 8310 but im not sure yet if its really good!except the gprs and wap 1.2.1 and hscdr and the radio is there anything else good about it!and do you think that its price is going to fall near christmas time?

The best handset in the world? I think so.Brilliant menu paths,very user friendly,and damn good looking. If the Siemens SL45 had an FM radio and GPRS,instead of a rubbish MP3 player then Siemens would rule!!!!!!!!but not yet.

ericsson is so much better than nokia....it has better lookin phones, more useful phones and it has much much more functions plus nokia almost has no GPRS phones......and most importent nokia has no phones with built in bluetooth™ technology....ericsson for ever!!!!!

i have used all ericssons ( t68 t39 t65 )
and the nokia 8310 and i simply say that 8310 is the best by far for people not being a business man

the 8310 does not have opposite as a game on it. it has a pinball game instead so sort out the facts mate but a great site good JOB!!!
