I have had a Nokia 3210 for about 3 years now and am very satisfied with the handset. The Menu channels are very easy and will probably stay with Nokia. The 8310 looks very stylish and will i feel in the Market flourish.

This phone is disappointing, unusual for Nokia.Poor reception quality, useless software that dumps your phonebook.Strange extras that don't work very well like the radio that only picks up one station,or all the ring tones that are on an 8250.Nokia can do better than this,my two samples crashed several times during calls.
Best go for a T39 if you want a phone that does it all, after all the 8310 looks like it should be sold in sweet shop, though only after a few days of use its just another Nokia but a not a very good one.I've used Nokia for 4 years, not any more.
Heres my top 5 GPRS phones I've tested.
1-Ericsson T39
2-Motorola V66
3-Nokia 8310
4-Ericsson R520
5-Siemens S45
Nokia vs Ericsson
Should be intresting........

This is what the renowned site www.wap.com writes about 8310, and I agree!
"This is not an attractive design. The result is a somewhat asymmetrical handset that looks like a small toy. It looks like the design favourite Nokia has made a couple of minor mistakes that have resulted in a (not so) good-looking phone."
- A plastic toy!

I would go for Nokia anyday of the week, simply because they are far easier and quicker to use, have extra covers in case of damage. The T39 is already free on contract,in most places which shows its not holding its value or selling too well. When Ericcson and others decide to make their phones as simple to use as Nokia, and do away with external aerials maybe it will be a choice to make. Until then its no contest.

I was using a t39.....but now I have a real 8310 and I'm using it on BT Cellnet with GPRS.
What a difficult choice.
The Nokia has more looks appeal while the Ericsson has high end features.
The Nokia is definitely easyer to use.
All the reviews I've read on here seem to be from people who wish they had one,DREAMERS
Nokia vs Ericsson.......
Difficult decision

This phone has excellent specifications, it is coming out in uk for £150 on contract, also not too bad for new phone - BUT - it looks too much like a TOY!
