Scratch resistance, Durable, Nice Flip,100 Times better than Sirocco. Good bright big screen. Sirocco sucks because its all steal catching finger prints all the time and u have to clean it regularly but its not the case wit Luna as its not full steal and doesnt require cleaning 100 times a day, also the screen of Sirocco sucks because of poor quality display and amaler size but Luna rocks here as well the buttons of sirocco are also short and not comfurtable but Luna does its job here as well i believe Luna is far more better than Sirocco in all aspect and the fact is that most of the Sirocco customers are converting to Luna now because they are tired of cleaning it all the time and finally the more i use it the more i like it... The wallpapers and screen savers on this phone are "organic" which means you can't compare between different handsets as they change in their own individual way. Pretty cool huh?! lol

I don't have this phone but... from the pictures it look soooooooooo beautiful... I want one just cause it's beautiful but i know I'll never get it cause it's soooo heavy and cause it costs as much as a smartphone... but this has got to be one of the most beautiful phones i have ever seen... beats out anything LG has ever made, and they're supposed to be the fashion phone company.

Phone functions are ordinary.
Fashion show off is high.
It is a good Gold plated Expensive Toy.
Only Recommended for Arab Sheikhs.
No Hard Working Person will buy it.

For Chief: i have sirocco dark and luna. Sirocco is much easy to scratch then luna but the scratches on luna look real ugly compared with sirocco.I speak about normal scratches, from the car keys, etc. Luna dont have the same feeling of "class" like sirocco, but have better OS and the display is far better.

I think a full glass cut front is worth much more than stainless steel........

Got the Luna, Sirocco and the original 8810. Have to say I love the 8 series but my favorite is the Sirocco, followed closely behind by the 8810.
The Luna looks good in the pictures because of the wallpaper. The actual phone is really different when it is just sitting on the table. I almost imitates the LG chocolate. Doesn't feel like an 8-series. If you are an owner to the older 8-series, you will be rather disappointed with this phone because it has almost no stainless steel/chrome look. It isn't curvy and does not reflect the natural surrounding light. The sirocco is simple yet the contour makes the phone very interesting as it is not just a bunch of LEDs on the phone, rather it is the elegance of the simple curves of the phone combined with its shine.
Overall, it is a nice phone, but it really doesn't reflect the 8-series and does not cater to its previous customers. Not worth the money if you are looking for "class".

I would appreciate if anyone who is currently using this phone can tell me/us about the cover;
If it scratches easily especially when rubbed against another phone, also I would like to know how durable it rally is, I mean we all know the sirocco is stainless steel and the screen is scratch resistant, but what about the Luna, how durable is it - like when it accidentally drops.
I would appreciate a real owner's response. Thanks

I have just Unwrapped the Beauty. Its sure has a exquisite bodywork. No doubt in that.
Its all the look, that gets your attention Man. Its just so different from other. I know that its is of no comparison in terms of features as it has nothing to offer. But to be honest you have to also admit that the things this beauty offers is of no comparison either. I mean even if you take its WEIGHT, I think its a plus point as it adds more feel and worth to it.

luna is the cheaper version of sirocco but its NOT because of the lack of additional batt and bluetooth...the stainlesss steel is not as durable as the sirocco and the sliding is not as smooth due to the fact that luna does not use premium ball bearings...for more info go to http://www.mobile-review.com/review/nokia-8600-en.shtml...
to summerise-functions wise no doubt luna is better,but when it comes down to built quality and top of the range of the 8XXX series, sirocco wins hands down
