Nokia 8800 is nice looking.
Nokia N-Gage 2 is even better looking: it's small & thin & got a hugh screen.

I wonder if the upper part opens manually or automatically. I find it irritating when I have to use both my hands to answer a phone call.

I have knows the price.. in Thailand the price is 34500 baht which is $ 862.5 US Dollars. www.blisstel.com (source)
So.. the price is so expensive.. which i think is will be like Nk8910 when is first launch.. and suddenly.. decline.. for only a few months..
Just for your information.. :)

There wont be an official release date. Nokia dont work like that. They will just release it when they feel is the right time.

Firstly, I apologise if this has already been asked/answered.
Paul S said that there are two shapes on the side of the phone to push the top up; does this mean that there is no automatic slide used on 8910s et al?
It is good to see that Nokia have addressed the issue of rejecting a call.

it works like any modern nokia when a call comes in, you can reject or silence it with the two softkeys. the softkeys are usable when it is closed - they are the two thin shapes on either side of the edge used to push up the phone. and yes, it has video.

According to the carphone warehouse website (Im not sure how much of a reliable source they are), this phone is expected for release in Britain in July 2005. Britain tend to be the last to recieve new models so i assume it should be available everywhere then.

Hello everybody,
I've ordered it allready because it's not sold anywhere in Holland yet (legally that is ;-) ) one question about the 8800:
between the "green" phone button and the #1 and between the "red" and the #3 there are 2 button-look plates. Are those buttons? Like the left and right under-screen button from the 6230i?
Thanx in advance!

yeah there are two buttons right between the screen and the slider. So you can reject a call from there
