This phone is a great piece of art it reminds me of the nokia 8810 what a fantastic phone. Shame abbout the camera it could do with a 3 mega pixel camera and also a speaker function for an mp3 player would give it an advantage over the other phones on the market!!

Seems like another one of the 8910i type, classy looks and terrible features, perfect if you have bags of money and care more about style than performance.

The phone is going to cost about 750 Euros which is about 970 USD or 512 GBP. So its on the high end of the market.
I don't think Nokia would have been particularly worried about the camera as most people who buy this phone would already have a real camera... Everyone knows that all-in-one devices are of lower quality than devices built for the one specific purpose!

Appearance, GREAT! But why come out with a phone that does not have at least 1 or 2 megapixel cam? And I am sure it is going to cost a fortune when it is available, probably 6 months later.
Sigh, no wonder Nokia is losing market share anywhere in the world!!!!

i think thats this is a very stylish phone. The outside stainless steel thinga ma jig is kinda kewl too. plus the non scratch screen. I don't like my phones to be scratched up. it makes me feel like i need a new phone when im only 2 months in with my new phone. This is going to be a great phone as long as it doesn't cost me a fortune!!

to gsmarena.com editor: nice set of pictures.
it looks like nokia/vertu had to choose whether to release new phone under nokia or vertu, and they chose nokia.
the phone seems to be standard by functions, eye-turning by design -one way or they other- and wallet-chocking by price for those wallets who can't aford it.
it seems a good replacement of 8890. like to see it closer but not before six months when it comes out in the US :( yet some people are already selling it before it is mass produced... what a beautiful world we live in :)

I like the look of it, nice & stylish & looks smaller to alot of "sliding phones".
It looks stylish, has a metal case, which although will dent up if dropped is stronger than a plastic one.
One thing that puts me off is the price but then this isn't designed for youngsters (although I am 21)& the 8000 series has always been a luxury series.
Like somebody said in an earleier post if you want decent pictures by a digital camera & as long as it has some sort of hands free option then I can't see a problem
BTW:-If you don't like Nokia, stop posting comments that keep bashing them & adding comments at the end such as "...Sony ericsson are better anyway." If you have a genuine comment fair enough but stop posting the same old bilge about how one bran dis better than the other

Yet another useless phone from Nokia.
The bottom it's too roundy, and curvy. The top resembles greatly to 6021, 6030 and most of 6XXX series.
The fetures are really low: is there a memmory card?
the camera is bad enough.
the only great thing about it is the scratch free glass covering the screen.
is it worth paying so much just for that?
didn't think so either

Here here to the person below! Anyone who thinks this phone is ugly has no taste in my opinion.
I like the classic looking phones. I am disgusted by the plastic looking phones that seem to be dominating the market at the moment. Its about time some more phones like this were released.
I can perfectly understand why this phone is expensive. Why would Nokia want a 16 year old buying this phone - and likewise, why would a 16 year old want to buy the phone? Nokia knows only too well that people who like this kind of phone will be willing to pay the money for it, so why charge less?
