this phone is the most beautiful phone ever released, i like the look better than scirocco edition, yes the cam quality is poor, but i noticed i dont take pictures neways. the only issue is the battery for me, but i have just ordered the bp-6x battery of scirocco and that should solve all my pain :)

What is the point in buying this phone. I mean it costs way to much for the fact thats its metal, oh woohoo. The features are garbage, the camera is just nowhere near good enough for the price and the fact that the phone is just to easy to scratch makes it possibly the most pointless phone evr made.

this phone is literallly crap compared to the nokia 3210 lolzzzz.
if there was a slim line phone in this then i would definately buy this.

Scirocco battery works perfect on the 8800.. it's standby for a day and a half .. :)

Hey guys I seem to have a little problem. My Nokia 8800 doesn't seem to let me usje my regular speaker. As in the one you just put on your ear and talk.....( sorry i don't know the correct term for it.) But there is this "car symbol" in the middle of screen. Right under where it says "Cingular." So I was wodnering does anyone ealse ha ve this kinda problem or know how to fix it?

yes, this nokia with 1.3mp cam and memory card is fake. It says mpeg4 on the front, has an extra toggle key, is dual-band, and is made in china. do not buy-not real nokia

hi eve body am using nokia 8800 now d issue am facing is regarding memory...... i just wanna know hw can you utilize message memory mentioned in memory status of the mobile? i have almost 90 msgs saved in my mobile (saved msgs)which has reduced storing capacity of inbox. if u check memory status of ur mobile ull see FREE MEMORY, GALLERY & MESSAGES...... in my case space held by messages is appearing 0.0kb....... can i utilize phone memory to save msgs or is there any option that the number of msgs u can save be increased?

I found a nokia 8800...whit 1.3MP camera and card slot.It's not sirocco.It's possible?pls help

Regarding those that they are faced with BATTERY problem on their Nokia 8800.....just replace your battery with BP-6X (standard battery of 8800 Scirocco) which is Li-Pol instead of the older battery of normal 8800 BL-5X which is Li-ion.
Your problem will be solved at least by 50%!!
WE have both batteries in stock but it seems tthat after explaining to customers nobody wants to buy the old BL-5X and we need to get rid of those!!

Great phone, astonishing looks, not so many features but taking into account the fact that a phone is made for making and receiving calls, this phone is all you need.
The famous battery problem is solved by switching to BP-6X. I just did and now the standby time with normal use (50min calls a day)is 3 days. Last but not least the battery capacity indication FINALLY works!!! Having solved that one, the only drawback is the price. You must pay a hefty price tag for the looks, the luxury and the build quality. If your wallet can afford it, this is the best phone money can buy (up to 700euros then you have other choices as well...)
