I just got 8800,and it's beautifull,
but batery life- one day :(
Scratch-resistant glass :(
I have allready two scratch on display :(

This phone has alot of bling,but the battery life is horrible.And scratch-resistant, huh yeah right

it is just a little difference with how does it look. but phones dont have any more other differences. i am celling this phones, and people really like them

can someone email me and tell me the difference between the 8800 and 8801? i know that the 8800 sirocco looks a bit different and has a better camera, but whats the difference between the regular ones?

Worst battery life on any phone ever me and about 10 friends have this phone and we need to charge it at least twice a day useless peice of garbage

Are they still offering free BP-6X battery? I just called the customer care, n' they said they'll call me in 48hours. Where can I find the cheapest BP-6X battery? someone pls.. email me

If u want to recognize wich is the sirocco and wich is the 8800, u can understand from the camera and the internal memory.
8800 : Camera SVGA, 800x600 pixels
Memory 64 MB internal
Sirocco : Camera 2 MP, 1600x1200 pixels
Memory 128 MB internal
So I think its not difficult to recognize it if u make a search on the settings of the phone...

Just to further add to the enforcement of switrching batteries to the bp-6x. I have all the battery problems mentioned here until I switched to the new battery. Interesting for me I out my 8800 in for a firmware upgrade and had a general winge at nokia about the battery, nokia replaced the bl-5x with the bp-6x no charge. Intesrting they ( nokia ) did not replace with bl-5x. At present getting 4 - 5 days elapsed with various usage patterns. If your serious about keeping the 8800 long tern then switching ti a bp-6x battery is a must.

I was wondering, do any owners of this phone have problems such as the phone reseting by its self or blocking? I'm thinking of buying it but this problem keeps coming up in every review I read. I'm from Serbia and though maybe its a problem with the phones that are bought in this region. Any advice would be helpful. thanks....

Do somebody know if I cud instal on my nokia 8800 a software "epitools". This software is requiring a windos qapplication on the mobile??
It is possibile to instal such a soft on this nokia model ??

How can you tell if the nokia 8800 sirocco is fake and its not the real mobile ? for example if someone changed the face from the normal nokia 8800.....
