i wanted to set myself apart from all the kid at my school(the only kid that had it), and i did it is heavy but at least i know it is in my pocket. i like the dictionary for my spainish it does come in handy. it is expensive but now everyone can have it because of stuiped t-mobile is selling it it is a good phone and you can get more memory if you delete the programs and the ringtomes you don't need so it will increase your memory.

This is the most expensive phone I've ever had and it's also the worst phone I've ever had. The battery life is dismal, often, with four bars of battery remaining, the phone will give the battery dead beeps and turn itself off. I've bought a Motorola Razr and I'm selling the 8800 to some poor unsuspecting individual!

                  Adil :

Our family happened to had dinner together tonight with my brother-in-law because of father's day. He just brought a E900. I compared it to my 8800 & definately the 8800 come on top in the look & feel & quality. The E900, well, is just like any Samsung phones.........!!!
A phone is a phone, so we talk about the basic features first(for making & receiving calls). The sound quality of my gun metal colour 8800(with newest firmware) is clearer. The quality of the build-in hands free is so much better than the E900.

I don't care if other people have the same phone(8800) like I do.........not like some other people who just want to be exclusive........., I highly recommand the 8800 because it is a good "phone".

By the way, honestly, ask yourself how often phone user use their phone as a camera/video recorder or MP3? I guess not too much at all!.......or else this is not the phone for them.

The radio & dictionary that came with this phone is quite handy too.

                      To Adil:

Definitely E900 can't compared to 8800 because E900 is by far superior:high-tech features,good-looking,full of features, reasonable price.
Atleast you get what you give or expect from a phone.

had this phone since Nov 05, had a lot of problems with the first version *replaced with a new one after sending the phone back to nokia for 3 ties*
no doubt that this is a nice phone that rarely anyone would have due to the high price *and stays high*
a very nice mon that's better than LCD*computer ones* quality... feels heavy, but this is how a high class phone should be. its simply a phone that people would stare at when you take it out of the pocket...
however, only bad thing is the battery life... @.@~ sux hard! for a heavy user like me... charing the phone daily is essential, and strongly suggested to carry the 2nd battery~

The phone itself is great. Ive not found any problems with the battery or any of the features so far!
The only problem i have with mine is the dirt that has got under the screen! The buttons that are directly under the screen are not in a sealed unit and lets dust and dirt get under them. Whent the phone is switched off, and the screen goes black it shows up and looks terrible. Nokia have said they are aware of the problem and are happy to clean the phone for me if i send it away to them? Seems like alot of hastle for a problem that should not happen!
As i said, no other problems with the handset.

I have had a lot of phones and this is without a doubt the best one. It is not only classy, but full of functions, better than the massively sold V3. I bought it 15 days ago and haven't had any trouble at all. The only con is the battery life, it lasts about two and a half days.

                                      to feedback:

yea, I'm from the state. I am currently using black razor and it's an oversea phone. I guess I am the lucky one cuz other people that uses razor have problems with their scean goes out and batt too short. My car has handless phone that I can use bluetooth on so any phone with bluetooth is good for me to use while driving. Razor is a wonderful phone for me but now it's just time for me to have another one. I have check out many over sea phone but for the quality of structure itself, 8800 or 8801 is really nice. Even though the price is high but it has gone down a bit. It'll cost me like 300 dollars to upgrade my current plan so it isn't bad at all.

                                        shaolin :

So you are from the States, I guess(that's where I used to attend school...long time ago).

The 8800 or I should say 8801 for North America is a much better machine than the RAZA. This Nokia is very comfortable to hold(unlike the RAZA which is too wide). I particularly like the build-in hands free speaker phone coz it's so clear even from a little distance(try it for yourself). The speaker phone is very useful for me when driving because I do not like to carry/use any hands free equipment.
The battery do not last for a long time; but it is ok which last me a day. It take only about an hour to fully recharge the battery.
