Nokia 8800 is not the handset you want to get, It's a pile of crap and it's for the ladies.

Men who have this women's phone you really need your head testing because it's purely for the women.

It has small fingers for ladies and it's like a makeup container.

Don't get it's not worth it

Agree with all u guys out there who dislike the phone, my old w800 is better than that

Jason, If you've not noticed this is where people voice there opinions.

If somebody doesn't like the 8800 like myself they are going to express it.

Just because some ofus in here dislike the 8800 it doesn't mean there a cramp.

I presume you area a owner of the boring handset and that's why you sound like your going to have a cry.

Nokia 8800 has loads of faults, it will be on watchdog soon because there's more and more people complaining about it everyday.

Handset is boring and lacks the features of the Nokia 6230i and the 8800 is over priced and that's the known facts

So whoever has the 8800 I feel you have been truly ripped off by nokia

I agree with John that theres nothing worse than having a phone and knowing every one else has it which will make you feel commmon. Also i understand about the design flaws and lack of features however its looks and rariety makes up for it.So having a price makes the phone exclusive just like the nokia 8850 / 8910i and seperates the good and the ugly also stops evil tramps who want to complain about this phone.

After monitoring the posts on this website for sometime I feel I must post my opinion.

Myself and my partner Khalid both purchased the 8800 on contract with Vodafone a little over 8 months ago and are dismayed at the negative reviews that it has received.

Having worked in the mobile phone industry for sometime and having had several phones in the past I must say that the 8800 is a peach and at the pinnacle of fashion and design stakes in the mobile industry.

Khalid and I go clubbing from Paris to Berlin and all the different men I meet comment on how brilliant my phone is. This is mainly when I go west in Europe as I am a big clubbing fan.

The comments people make about that last of features don't wash with me. The 8800 say's what it does on the tin, make call's, send sms and take photo's, I mean sorry, what more do you want from the phone?

In one final comment I would like to say that I now to drive a BMW and am a firm believer that image is everything that's why I love the 8800

I used to have one as well, got it as a free upgrade, I have 3 things to say about the 8800.

1 It's a nice handset and too many asian brotha have them but Keep well away it's not worth the price wait till the price goes down because it's overpriced and you will get ripped off.

2 The slide tends to break easily on the 8800 and to get it repaired nokia takes months to send your handset back.

3 It's true about the sound quality, it's not that clear and it breaks up.

4 Doesn't have wifi, crap camera, no 3g

5 It's not scratchproof because mine is scratched.

6 These are facts, If the handset was all that I be 1st to admit it because I have one but It's definately not the best out there not by far, it's overhyped and overpriced.

This comes from a true brotha

                Rahul,

                Question 1:-
Why did you buy it in the first place if you said that the buttons are small. Didn't you try it before you buy it???

                Question 2:-
If this is a girl's phone, then why did you buy it? Were you a girl at the time when you buy this phone???

Sound like a lot of nonsense / BS!!!!!!!!!.....I guess you have nothing better to do!!!!!!!

This is a serious site for owner & user of 8800 to post their comment.........but not for people like you sc**wing around!!!!!!!

They tell me battery die all time and cant hear other person on other side.

I used to have one and it kept cuttin off when i speaking to friend.

Very Very Bad Bad bad Handset I will stick with K750i Better and it look very good indeed.

                        Get a K750i

When buying the Nokia 8800 your buying the phone for the looks, inside the phone is basic, trust me open it up and have a look yourself then you know where i'm coming from.

It's a womens phone not a mens phone, the buttons are too small so for all the guys out there with girlie fingers and small hands you might appreciate the phone.

Phone is to overpriced as well considering your only going to use it to answer calls.

Voice quality is dull, look in the mobile magazines and see the experts comments, the nokia 6230i has a higher rating and the sound quality is much better.

Fot those who have bought the handset I feel sorry for you because you've been ripped off.

Nokia are running out of bright ideas.

As i mentioned it's a girlie phone, slide tends to break on them after 3 months.

Again the overpriced Nokia handset isn't worth it considering there's cheaper nokia handsets out there that beat it on stats.

No extendable memory, no wifi, not symbian enabled, low battery 1 - 2 hours seaktime and the picture quality is horrible and its quite heavy, small dinky buttons, It was especially made as a womens phone but some men out there who havr this handset felt like a lady when buying it and then got ripped off truly.

The owners of nokia are sitting back having a right laugh, They are bringing pink versions and other colours just so mugs will buy the handset hehe

Not a hater on nokia, just on the basic 8800 ripoff phone

Cheers for the sexiest phone ever.
Just a few real people could appreciate the existing of that phone.

The best design, style and display quality.
                              Worth the price.
                              Stainless steel and scratchproof display.
Poor features and batery life but you have to pay the price to be COOL.
                              Do you agree?:)

Great looking phone. There is no phone on the market so far that look so good & elegant. This phone of does look flashy but it last(this kind of design not easy!!!).

This is the best phone for the classy people(definately not for boys........because they do not even know how to appreciate a great design!)

The more I use the 8800, and compare to the more newcomer phones I own recently, the more I appreciate & recommand this phone to people who is thinking of buying this PIECE OF ART.

I agree with must people that perhaps this phone is over priced for what it offers but the idea of this model is not about features but uniqueness. I own this phone and I admit it has faults but I'm happy to know that it’s rare and that most people won't come across it. Its not a common phone, this is backup by all the 8000 series remember the 8850, 8910i etc not based upon features but uniqueness and rarity oh and a high price tag, but if you owned them you know that must people wouldn’t have it. There’s nothing worst than having a phone and knowing every one else has it, it just makes you common.

8800 Not the best phone out there, best looking phone maybe but as far as the phone itself it doesn't offer much, Sony w810i is better, imagine that handset in the samer nokia style which would you go for?

8800 inside is so basic you will end up giving it a kick and maybe give it to your mum or grandma

Nokia 8800 isn't worth the price, It's been out ages and it's overpriced.

Nokia are doing everything to sell the handset, they have painted it black, also they have the Aston Martin logo on it and are selling that for £949 limited version because of the engraved logo.

Nokia are having a laugh and to be honest nokia isn't ripping me off.

Nokia are doing everything possible to sell the 8800 at a rip off price.

Had a 8800 gave it to me sister, and the buttons are very tiny, if you have big fingers your going to have big problems, It's a ladys phone and it doesn't offer you much.

Proce for the handset it truly a ripoff, No Thankyou Nokia Ill go with the Sony ericsson.
