To Bennie,
Hi! I'm using bluetooth connection and working very well... Check if your bluetooth adapter is 1.2 or 2.0, I'm using kingston brand, it's 1.2 and working. I dont know if this affects. Do you have installed the Nokia PC Suite?

I went from the 8910i to the 9500 and then onto this phone. I do like it, but the battery restricts the use to social. I reset the call timers each battery change and will get around 1 hr 5 mins per battery. This is ok for going out on the night, but for the work day not enough - i travel a lot and get riled carrying one or two spare batteries around eveywhere - plus, you can guarantee the phone will cut out during a call and so it means a change and call back which gets a bit tiring. Other than that, my unit is stable enough althouh the battery meter goes from full charge and then suddelny low battery - hence me clearing call timers to see how much life is left.
I think it will get the 9300i for work as the 9500 was good apart from the size....

This phone is awful. The battery life in rubbish, the camera is from a phone that I would expect to be launched about 2 years ago, it's heavy, way too expensive and just not worth the money the phone companies are payiong to bring this into stock. It's not worth £600.00. Could get a cheaper phone with better facilities and better battery life. What a waste. Glad I sent this one back and got the 6230i instead. Don't have to worry about my battery going flat on me unlike this heap of junk

i recently found out y the phone keeps turning off the firmware and battery has nothing to do with it. Its the battery and the 2 pin that connects the battery too the phone its loose and thats the reason it switches off occasionally try fixxing the pins so that the battery doesn't lose cotact with the phone.

I have had the 8800 for some time now and just want to let everyone know its a perfect phone. No problems ever. Went to Canada to see my family and it was an eye catcher and on roaming
worked again perfectly. This phone will be used for some time to come even when the market has changed. It you are thinking of getting one do it and add it to your phone collection.

I bought this phone about 2,5 months ago and it is by far the best phone I've ever had. I have had a 8810, various 8850's and two 8910's. This phone is by far the most beautiful phone I've ever had. One of my colleauges has a Vertu but my 8800 feels even better. The only disadvantages that you could mention is that the sound is not loud enough and the batteries are not really good (but you get 2 batteries with the phone). If you have the money for it and want to spend it on a phone, don't hesitate but buy one!
