Hmmmmmm I can smell the fresh air coming from people who now owns a nokia 8800! As you can see lee agrees with me that Koreaus G never owned a nokia 8800. More and more people are now realizing that people who tries to destroy the image of this phone were fake and just a straight lie.

For those people who can't afford this phone and post nothing here but lies I have a suggestion for them, they can buy a toy cell phone that looks like a nokia 8800 that way they have something to toy with.

Nokia 8800 is really a mobile of the year!
People who follows the path of 8 series of nokia they must know that 8 series rarely goes down when it comes to pricing. In other words nokia 8 series are valuable phones! Especially the 8800. I own a nokia n80(black version) and I asked peoples opinion which one looks better they like my nokia 8800 better over my nokia n80 eventhough my nokia n80 has more features.

I found my nokia n80 very attractive but my nokia 8800 stands out more when it comes to style. I never had problems with my nokia 8800 so I tend to use my 8800 a lot more than my nokia n80.

AAHhhhh its nice to own 2 best looking phones. Hmmmm can you smell that fresh air...

Dream on! Take that Koreaus G!

Hi people.Stop fighting over this phone.I can tell you something for sure:The phone don't have all the feauters some a lot more cheaper phones would have, but it worth the money - 800$.The phone wasn't made to be used as a camera or laptop. The phone is unique and everybody who got it knows what i am talking about. Some people will never understand the purpose of that phone ,so don't try to proove them rong.If they think the phone is not worth it - their call.
I am happy to have it.

OMG!! Just been on foneplanet.com and they are selling BLACK 8800's for £2000.00. Nothing different, just black metal. Been onto them and they cannot seem to justify the price. They say is cos its so rare and limited edition etc but peeps, this black version is available in Russia and Australia, probably would be cheaper to fly over there and get one. Madness! I want one now tho..........

I work for o2 as i stated before... and sure i could afford the phone if i really wanted, it would mean cutting back on my dvd buying... but the only way id have this phone is if it were foc.. all id do is sell it on ebay to make a profit from people who know so little about phones they would actualy buy it! I'd then go and buy a better phone (and have plenty left for dvds) ... in short, id rather buy 25 dvd's and waste 500 that way, then hav this phone and not be able to even use it for longer then 2 hours.

lets face it, atleast with dvds they wont stop working after using them once!

So the comments of "people are just bitter as they cant aford it" well... its just playground stupidity... Yes some people may not be able to afford it... but that doesnt mean if they could... they would even want it.

look at its poor features. and poor battery life

p.s in my opinion... Worst phone ever... id rather have the nokia 3310!

And its so cheap for what it is! since I have had this phone everyone wants to be my friend because I am now super cool....Its all thanks to this handset £500 well spent! how dare people abuse nokia they are so creative and leaving other manufacturers in there wake w/this technological marvel

I am one who spends ridiciously too much on cell phones, and also their monthly plans, but this is far beyond the limit. Money is not the issue, but this phone does have anything which makes it the price it is. I commend people like myself who pay big bucks to talk in style, but purchasing this phone would only make them look like an idiot.

I really believe this phone to be over priced and that it's only a "SHINY PHONE". There are so many better phones on the market, Nokia is only popular because they were the first to capture the market. I've various customer return the phone to me with problems just after 2 weeks.

4 weeks in and still not a single problem with my phone.
reading all the posts on this site, i have to agree with the market research which suggests that an unhappy customer will tell double the people about their bad experience than a happy customer would tell about their good experience...

Kouraes G - i too believe that you have never even owned this phone and are just bitter that you cant afford an 8800. you sure spend a lot of time considering you are a supposedly a high powered business person. you have been posting the same post for over a month now and you arent actually saying anything new.
we are all aware of your opinion on this phone so give it a rest now, as most people can make up their own mind when purchasing a phone

this phone is too expensive for what it is its features dont stand out from any other phone and why you would and to pay a small fortune for it or put or self onto a traiff that will cost you about £75 per month for 12 or 18 moths to get it for free (o2 only ones to do this) your mad do the math
£75 per month for 12 months = £900 (+ the possible extra price of the handset on top of line rental charges)

I have use the phone only for 2 month. The summary that i can give is....it really common phone but with casing that is strong as chainmil in war.

" i work for o2 in there retention department and we get a lot of posers who want a 8800 just becasue of the way it looks they dont care what it does and most of these customers dont spend enough to get the phone for free so have to pay through the nose for a phone that has real bad softwear problems you may as well get a 6230i and save your self a small fortune and at least you wont be returning it after a week becasue its so rubish and has just died on you " - my thoughts exactly, i work for vodafone and we get the same problems

                                        HOLLA HATERZ

NOKIA 8800 HAS given me no problems. Mine has came directly with o2 I have everything set up & just put in my SIM card all settings were there.

All I have to set up is my E-mail then am good to go.

I think this phone is better than the 8910I as it has video, & real tone mp3.

Am not changing this model as have it in Black & silver.

                                        holla
