This phone had a gold plated version released officially.

I want to buy this this phone simply because its featured in John Wick movie 2. But damn I thought I can get it with less than $30 since is old tech, damn Its around $300+ people still keep it as collection item.

Does anyone know if this phone was ever OFFICIALLY released in gold? That would make all the gold versions out there theoretically fake, right?
