I want it BACK soooooo MUCH! As me, there are hundreds of owners/buyers who want a remake of this jewel!
With:
-better battery and newer specs, but same shape and materials!
This and the Moto RAZR V3... were...dream phones in their time! Made a simple man feel... better, richer and somehow happier...
WISH THEY COULD MAKE IT AGAIN!

I have been using this phone for a while now.. I was lucky enough to be able to buy this one at GH.. still looks brand new.. its a good phone.. easy to use.. the battery life is better compared to the 1st one.. and one best thing I can say about it, its very seldom or definitely rare to bump or to see another person using.. so its like being unique..

salim_hosain, 21 Feb 2012i too much confused about 8800, I want to buy but should i ... morejust had this phone and I'm using it right now.. its a great phone.. though they just altered few specifications when it comes to this phone.. because I also did use the original 8800.. the 1st version of 8800 is better when it comes to its design.. the keypad and design itself compared to sirroco.. but sirroco has a better battery life.. and has a better camera.. but if I were to choose I still choose the 1st 8800 only with the battery life of sirroco..

For those people wanting this unit or any 8800 unit this unit is not that much function like other BUT if your looking for glamour and something to show LIKE BLING BLING this Baby will never go out of style "that's why its called an executive phone" and to know what is real to not feel the unit 1st 8800 mostly is really heavy than replica even the metal itself seems like thicker than replica not to mention the serial number that is engraved at the battery cover replica "DON'T HAVE THAT" and the clarity of the screen is different as well hope this will help you separating FAKE to Genuine........

Anonymous, 13 Nov 2011I just two units of the originals off ebay (from a US selle... moreI don't know why you consider it such an ac complisment the fact that you bought Sirocco......I don't know where you live,but in my country if you know the right people you can buy a sirocco or a 8600 luna in a good condition for 50€,a 8800 arte or sapphire for around 120€......Understand that the 8800 series is not luxiours eny more!....It's not like when it was launched with 1000€ a phone!...Things have changed!
