The B&O phone is made by Samsung, and as usual, Samsung products are un-reliable & plasticky.....so "no" thank you. The Sirocco is a genuine luxury & reliable phone.....no comparison!!!

If you realy want to spend over a $1000 for a phone...I suggest to get the new Bang & Olufsen super phone...the closest competitor of the sirocco...but 10 times better, the phone is a killer, quality and look "sublime"

i just purchased one . for once i like taking my phone out and knowing that the person beside me doesnt have one. i had the 8800 and i loved it made a huge mistake when i brought the n95 im not that type of person . i sold the n95 after a week . i brought it the first day it came out and wanted to throw up when i went in a shop and the customer next to me was showing of his to his friends. plus when i sold it i couldn't believe that in a week the price dropped 50 e. my sirocco will stay with me until the next luxury phone comes out. these days you can own a crappy phone and still stand out with shops putting jem stones and other bling to suit your taste. its all about taste . and money . this is the best phone ever.

A bit better than the 8801...(witch came with 2 batteries no lasting)...but never reach the impressive good old 8890 (in 2000)in silver aluminium witch was fantastic...and very attractive especially with its blue neon light around the screen, back then I use to start a lot of conversations in bars and clubs...that phone was my best night life friend...the Sirocco is more heavy...feel like quality in your hand...but dont have the attraction the 8890 use to have...I missed the good old days!!!

One thing I really like on this Sirocco is, it not a common phone.. Not too much people buy this because 1. it is very expensive 2. price never goes down like phones made of plastic 3. does not have so much function so people dont buy it 4. and lastly whoever has it manifests high class taste on mobile phone... I dont mind other funtions because I can have a PDA unit with bigger screen, very good resolutioin, multi functions from bluetooth, to WIFI, to GPS, etc..

Got my Samsung D900 today on contract. Got it for free on virgin for £20 a month and 5 months free. They also surprised me when they sent cash-back of £50 the next month.
Think I'm going to get an NOKIA N95 from that site as well since i now trust them.

Hi Miv! I am so thankful you have this opinion, I am thinking almost one week already to have an N95 instead of Sirocco to buy this end of the month. But now, I am decided to get the Nokia Sirocco.. simply elegant.. N95 right now got a lot of negative
views.. price will go down rapidly.. popularity degradation for N95 is coming so fast..

I kept avoiding this phone in favor of N series with their symbian. Last week I bought N95 and it started to show various "small" problems. That's when I've finished with symbian!!! Now I have this elegant piece (Sirocco) with it's simple system (soft) and all I can say is that I regret I didn't get it sooner.

can I use 128MB to store my txt msgs? Coz in most of the NOKIA fones you can only save 150 txt msgs but in Symbians' you can store as many as you want but advise plz if this NOKIA's own OS operated fone can store more then 150 txts...

My hubby also got one of these, and it goes well with his sexyness, lol.
But I just went to the site Billy L said, and the customized Sirocco looks divine.
It's absolutely gorgeous, I have to get one of those for my hubby's birthday

Com'on people, dont judge the phone that badly, coz u dont like it,cant afford it or it doesnt give u what u want from a phone, always ask yourself what you want and expect from it then make your decision which phone u're going to get and most importantly:your budget. The Sirocco is only for people who really appreciate the quality,workmanship,unique....something which stand out from the rest. The choice is rather simple:if u want Camera or Mp3 phone go to Samsung or SE/if u want Pda go to Imate or O2/...dont expect too much, dont expect everything in 1 phone, coz u'll be disapointed and then it'll be out of your reach. For Aud 1000,I think it's worth every cent of it.Had it 4 months now and tell u the truth,it still feel good anytime I hold it in my hand.
