This phone indeed is a phone with pride and bring status to someone who use it. You will hardly find any youngster using this phone cos it does not give feature. But it give a standard, a class and also it bring a position to user.
I sure Nokia should improve the sim card slot. It take me more than half an hour to remove my sim card.

i totally agree with everyone who have negative view on this phone. except for the material used in making this phone, there is nothing to cheer about, feature-wise. The first 8800 did not do well and i don't know why they come out with this one. maybe nokia's warehouse are stock with so many units and spare parts for the latter model they have to introduce this model so they can dispose the overflowing stocks. if their intention is to target the high end market, they should learn from motorola's v3 razr phone or maybe to a certain extend, LG's chocolate phone. two phones that have more or better features and does not cost a lot and yet is attracting a lot of buyers from the high end market.

8800 Sirocco...just 2 sum this fone up! Its like goin 2 a strip club, paying bucks 2have a sexy girl 2do things but at the end of the day she really dont do anything! But go elsewhere n pay a fraction of the £ and get 10times as much...need i say more! 8800/8800 Sirocco just sells on looks really...its a vain phone with no real personality...hmmm, just like all the buff chicks i know, lol!

this phone just looks great, not just great, for me there is no better looking phone. if you want a phone with a lot of features this is not your phone. you cant say its a crab phone though, why people say that. go get a phone that is 3g, with big screen and memory slot and be happy about it. if you want a slim phone with stainles steal body with great looks this is the one.

Ok... I bought this phone pretty much as soon as it came out. loved the style and decided to go for a phone that was uber style since I don't need many fnctions and... it's crap. All I use phone for is texting, calls and the odd photo, so thought this'd be perfect. Call quality's crap, really buzzy & signal awful (city centre!). Texting's a nightmare since they keypad's bad & the navi key... I have very skinny fingers & its still awful. Screen's really small and low res.... covered in fingerprints even using case. included Bluetooth headset's crap call quality too. Battery's not good (still). & it's really slow doing anything on it.
Looks fantastic (clean) I'll give it that.
But even if you want a phone phone with looks... it's got looks but it's not a very good phone!
Overhyped. underperforming. Waste of money.
Very disappointed. Getting a Sony Ericsson!

you wanna stylish phone, wait till NEC e363 comes out. i don't get what the obsession is with overpriced phone with a blimp looking slider. then again i don't get why pay $500 for a Prada t-shirt on sale that looks like sh*t either. go figure

my Motorola KRZR K1 lasts almost a week if i spread out talk time and looks just as desirable with even more features at 1/3 the price.

This phone is the most over priced and over rated piece of polished scrap metal i have ever come across...! If you want value for money buy a computer. It costs less and does more!

Why do u "love" this phone so much... I don't know if this info is accurate, but this battery time is totally UNsatisfying... And no memorystick?! WTF, are u from the 18th century :O? Only the design looks somewhat cool, but it's girlish IMO - might be cool for girlz, cuz they don't know anything 'bout phonez, they look only for design, while we, boys, need more gadgets :D! W800i is da best fone eva :)

Yh dis fone well nyc wun of da best most sexiest design ive seen and yh da screen TFT wow! liking it like no other has had a screen with that reesoltuioon this is da next generatio nwhether it has good quality games like series 60 or not da design is so smove and having a phone is al abt pride of it not showing wah it can do with this fone i would feel sooo good and i kno u will..
