Ilham163, 24 Sep 2020my only thing about why Nokia uses LCD instead of amoled.ma... moreI agree with that too, especially that this device was announced a long time ago, but i am sure if their was not this lockdown, this devices would have been available by now. Well, will see what's next, if they manage to stay alive during this period or if we're forced to buy pixels.

Carol, 23 Sep 2020If i have a brain problem you gotta have it damaged. The on... moreIt's really sad to see what's going on with Nokia from the king of world in mobile phones to being such lowly brand full of mindless fans who can't even understand simple explanations.
Instead keep talking nonsense and get angry with other people who say things you don't like about Nokia maybe you should research why most Finnish themselves prefer phones from other brands.
FYI according to StatCounter (A web traffic analysis website based on Ireland) Samsung has 28.31% market share in Finland, Apple 25.85% and Huawei 23.29% while Nokia only 4% even Oneplus has more market share with 7.24%.
People with common sense will see the pros and cons of each product no matter what brand then they will choose the better product.
Which is probably one of the reasons why Finnish prefer phones from other brands because i believe a developed countries like Finland will have more educated people who are smart enough when choosing a products.

Carol, 23 Sep 2020He's facts are no different then an opinion. So do not... moremy only thing about why Nokia uses LCD instead of amoled.maybe it's because amoled is more burndable. for example, Nokia 9 pureview. it's using amoled but when I saw the burn test from someone review its leaves a white mark permanently. while other nokia uses LCD only to get a black pixel spot from the burn but soon recover. but hey that his opinion. every people have own taste of phone. I'm a nokia fan and I approve that nokia sometimes need a little step up from their marketing game.

Ilham163, 23 Sep 2020understandable. I respect your fact opinion. it just kinda ... moreHe's facts are no different then an opinion. So do not lay it law just because he appears to be telling some facts, he has no ideea what facts are. To be telling a fact one has to know more then: this is better then that. If you give him a Nokia 8.3 with another name, he will love it's amoled screen...if you understand what i mean.

GENZA, 23 Sep 2020Reading your post makes me sure you must have a problem wit... moreIf i have a brain problem you gotta have it damaged. The only thing that will clear up the fact that you don't get it that i do not care about your "recomandations". We all have internet, you should try to use it too, and more for learning then trolling. I never lied with anything, i was refering to water resistance, as i assumed that is where your comment was going for. As for, amoled, i say it one more time: it is not better then IPS LCD not even close to better. You brought facts? What facts? Claiming that something is better then the other it means it is a fact? I bring you facts: Both screen Techonlogies have pros and cons and LCD's of today especially those implemented by Nokia have a LOT of pros. While the best quallity amoleds still burn in, are expensive and in the long run their light will fade into a more dull quallity. LCD panel might be known to eating more battery and to not to have deap colors, but that was a long time ago and those were the biggest complains about it, so... nothing deal breaking. Amoled panel is not better at battery saving when it comes to systems of today, yeah even with dark UI. It might be looking a bit prettier, for whom ever stares at his device 24/7 but contradictory to what is know about it's battery saving skills, in systems like iOS and Mac, Android or Windows it is not. Here amoleds are battery eating champions as the whole Panel is lighten up. For the panel to really save some battery, the UI has to be pich black so those pixels to actually be off, like windows phone once was. Everthing else will turn on the full panel, not much of a power saving... So yeah, why is the velvet better? Because of 40€ or whatever less? If you have an opinion it does not mean, your opinion has a point. And as we can all see, it does not. First research and learn, then come here to "say" your opinion. Till then, well the troll in you is trying hard.

Al96, 23 Sep 2020how are chinese phones bad?? id say it sucks ( not hating ) bc their build quality. especially the cheap one. yes, the performance of the phone is super crazy than others. but when it's come to durability they fall and die from what I'm experienced. it really fragile and weak. and from the app, they sometimes don't honest. just like camera. they good because they have some beauty set up things without settings that can make better than other phone. while if I compare to nokia, nokia have a good raw picture. i don't really trust Chinese phone from what I experienced bc I always get hacked. no matter how strong a password is, it keeps hacked (2 Chinese phone in the row). this is my opinion and if you don't like it then I'm sorry. and Nokia prolly my trusty phone for now.

Ilham163, 23 Sep 2020well, i really respect of someone opinion. but most of them... moreYou don't have to try first to know the facts about the main components and features that every phone uses because almost every phone maker will provide the specs about their phone just like the "Nutrition Facts" you usually see on food packaging.
For example the fact is that LG Velvet use an OLED display which has more wider color gamut, better contrast, response time and also more expensive to make than IPS LCD on Nokia 8.3 5G.
IP certifications also provide better protection from water damage.
What do you mean by having to try it first is not a fact but a personal opinion based on personal experience but that cannot always be considered as a fact because everyone has their own preferences for example we can use the same phone but we can have different opinions about the phone that's why even in Nokia official forum you'll see different opinion about Nokia Phones (both the good and the bad).
But on the other hand you and i can't deny the facts that OLED screen provide better color, contrast and response time.
And the last fact is that until now no one has used the Nokia 8.3 5G some testers and reviewers may have used it but there are no real consumers who have used Nokia 8.3 5G.
So the personal opinion of Nokia fans who keep praising this phone is also invalid.
That is why i only state the facts provided by Nokia and other brands.

Carol, 22 Sep 2020Just because you don't read it, it does not mean it ai... moreReading your post makes me sure you must have a problem with your brain i suggest you seek help because your love for Nokia makes you unable to accept reality and attacks people who only state the facts.
In your previous post you tried to say that LG Velvet's advantage is only €40 cheaper and i corrected the lie you said by pointing out another advantages of LG Velvet.
And if you're talking about investing in phones don't you see i recommend Google Pixel because Google phones have much better support than what Nokia can offer.
If you really like Nokia i'm okay with that but stop attacking other people and saying nonsense to people who have different opinions about Nokia phones especially if they state facts.

Too big and too heavy, and at this price I would expect a SD865.
Hope more smartphone makers use Zeiss lens. Currently, Sony and Nokia are the only two notable ones.
