Great phone... managed to pick one up quite cheap too, but need some info:

1.) Has anybody here connected this to a corporate BES? How does the blackberry service run on the 9300?

2.) Can you perhaps tell me if its possible to set the keypad to lock automatically after a set time? Like on most other Nokias

    Hi,
I am using this phone for last couple of weeks and really liked it a lot.

I have a query for using 1GB card with this phone.
Will it become slow with 1 GB card ?
Is there any configuration needed to use 1GB card?

You shouldn't put Nokia 9300i reviews inhere ,because it's a lot worst than 9300.
Nokia 9300 Communicator rules and the next phone is Nokia E90 Communicator./^%#&^^()*

                Hello
                Just adding some info:
OK OK this 9300 has no vibration, but... whatever!
some people say it might crash all the time, but they are certainly using some bad software in their phones. in 2 months it has never crashed with me.

                  Hello guys
Look, I had a P900 before byuing this phone, so I´m make a comparison as there are many people who just can´t decide between Sony P900 and NOkia 9300.
I just can´t regret having bought it.
Touchscreen is great sometimes, but it becomes awfull when you have to send a message or write down what somebody is saying. With Nokia 9300, you have a full qwerty keyboard and it´s much easier to access the special keys because they are all there, with P900, you have to "change the keyboard screen" to access numbers / symbols...
Batery life - P900 can be REALLY used for 2 days, TOPS! The reason why is the big LCD screen with maximum brightness all the time, there is no brightness control as in 9300.
Besides, as in 9300 there is a small cover screen, you don´t need to spend much energy in doing simple stuff. I can use my Nokia 9300 intensivly for 3-4 days.
With p900, you can send only 1 item at a time via bluetooth, Nokia 9300 lets you send as many as you can select and send them in one shot!
P900 is a beautifull phone, but when you open 9300 people say "wow"
Sound Quality - well here 9300 is a lot worse than P900, which has a bigger / better speaker.
9300 is a lot better in accessing Bluetooth and Infrared - you need to press only 2 keys together, in P900 you have to access several screens.
P900 comes with NO OFFICE COMPATIBLE APPS!
Nokia 9300 comes with "Word / PPT / EXCEL" compatible software, you can open / edit presentations, charts / docs and view PDFs easily.
Besides all that, Nokia options / menus are a lot easier to access. you just don´t "get lost"
Nokia 9300 has LOADS of network configurations, IP, DNS, Proxy, etc configurations.
WEB - well you must be thinking how you´d access the web without a touchscreen... nokia 9300 is EVEN BETTER! there is a mouse pointer you can move with the navigation hey, it works similar to a video game!
The screen resolution in 9300 is A LOT BETTER THAN P900
This phone works wonderfully well, if you heard the signal is always low, don´t believe it. You can´t expect a phone to work wonderfully well in ex: the middle of Africa or the north of Russia. Sometimes a phone company has a weak signal in certain places and people blame the phones... after all, this is not a radio, is a celular phone - not cells nearby, no signal!
I hope I helped someone choose your next phone.
                  Take care!

                        main point for this phone:

                        USE IF :
-you got plenty of fax to do
-you are BOSS.or work by yourself.
-you got no time to see all the calls duration/time spent/log
                        -you are really2 busy person.
                        -you are somebody into business

DONT , DONT USE if :
                        - for playing mp3, mp4 etc..
                        - u have time to see all calls duration/log
                        - your boss will mad at you because your phone ringing in a meeting
                        - u dont use FAX, email function.
                        - u are somebody that have so much time to play with phone.

                        CONCLUSION :

No vibrate because this phone designed for young, talented BOSS, chief, CEO..so if your phone shouting in a meeting no one can tell you to shut up..right?

                        rate 8/10
                        thanx.

I hate this phone. No vibrate, so I miss every single call when I am out where there is too much noise to hear a phone that is already muffled by my pocket. It also resembles the brick phone that was used in Saved ny the Bell. It is so big that it is embarrasing to pull it out without flipping it open to show people making fun of you that it is a computer. The operating system constantly hangs, and it takes a long time to boot back up after you have to open it and remove the battery to turn it off. Mine quit after 33 days so neither Cingular nor the store I bought it from would refund my $300! Today it appears to have called 911 and hung up. Which is wierd because it wasnt in my call log. The screen resolution is poor and "cheap" looking. Then today I tried to buy extra storage for it, so I could have a 1GB portable storage drive, but the geniuses at Nokia made the slot just a hair too small for a mini sd card. It probably is the only device in the world that requires you use a mmc card instead of SECURE digital. I wish I would have just dropped $300 in a drunken stupor, so then I could at least blame it on alcohol. Unfortunately I was dead sober. If you have a lot of money, you dont like the convenience of a good cell phone, and you have always wanted to have one of those "I was so mad, I smashed my cell phone against the wall" stories, then by all means get the incredibly awful Nokia 9300. If I stop one person from suffering through this phone until their next upgrade, then writing this opinion was well worth it. If you do get one anyway, then start counting down the nine month wait with Cingular for your next upgrade. It will almost feel like Christmas!
