Can anyone advise me via email why I don't seem to have a calendar feature on my Nokia PC Suite.
Or, to put it another way, why I can't back up from my new Nokia 9300i to my computer?
I have Windows XP on my computer and have tried to (re)load Nokia PC Suite both from the web and from the CD supplied.

does anybody know how to change the number of rings for the ringtone. My dad has this phone. Yesterday it would just ring and ring and ring without going to the voicemail. And today it would ring only once and then straight to voicemail?!?!?!?

Sorry to disappoint you, there is no backlight for the keyboard.
Either buy a head light (like miners do) or turn the lights on :-)

hey everyone... this is 6th time i am going to purchase this phone again.... i have tried many and many mobiles but on i can get satisfaction from this phone... this is absolutely fantastic in its features.... I am now waiting for the next communicator in 90s series like 9400 or 9600 or some models like that. I don't like e90. 90s rang of models have extreme features....

hi guys,i've been using the fone 4 the past few yrs n i can bet u the fone is the doll,iwas hurt when i hear the fone was discontinued.the fone got bigger memory,nice display,keybord 4 easy typing ilyk the fone.

I have a regret that I expected too much and I bought this kind of Nokia.
The one important thing is that I could not find how to change the Writing Language while I was writing SMS messages.
I live in Russia as a non Russian, so sometimes I should write in 2 kinds of character ( Latin and Cyrillics ). With this Nokia, to change those characters to write, I should change the device language first and get rebooted.
Darn, I hate this Nokia 9300...

Although a smart and good set however following drawbacks:
- Battery time not very good.
- No T9 feature for the external keypad.
- No Vibrations for Meeting or Silent profiles.
- Speaker performance for music player not very effective, OK!
- Slow interface.
- Considering the fact that Nokia phones have a good sound quality for headset, this one's just OK.
- No Speaker phone.

Yeah, you can easily expand the memory. Just use an MMC card. I've a 1Gb and it works fine - you can pick them up for < £20. You can store about three full length movies on it and loads of songs. However, if you do transfer anything from your PC - use a card reader - don't route it through your 9300 as it'll probably crash. I did it and lost an entire hard disk.

Hi, got the 9300 communicator a few weeks ago, used to have the 9210. Anyway, Does anyone now if it is possible to expand the memory up to 2 GB... 1 GB???? Many thanks in advance ;-)

The speaker is very good, i test it. My father has got Nokia 9300 and he is very please with that. He is happy, but here in Bulgaria she's cost 1000lv, e.g. 500$, and it's expensive. Howewer, Nokia 6300 is a very good Phone

I didn't like this because its slow...
I remember I wanted to borrow this from my dad and he was like freaked out and paranoid that I would loose it! in the end it was him that lost it! well thank God it was a gift....

ive been using the 9300 for more than a year now..its a good phone.. but there is a problem with the web apllication,i had another 9300 earlier and it had the same problem too..but everythin else about the phone is great..nothin beats a communicator..and its not as bulky as the 9500

How much is it possible to expand the memory? i read somwhere that the 7710 only is able to be expanded to 512 mb.

Having worked for Vodafone in various countries and used all the phones I keepcoming back to the 9300. The keyboard is the best on the market and the diary is excellent, better than any of the Blackberry products I have used. The PC interface is good too.
I did not set up the WAP features nor pay for airtime so cannot comment on the cost to run.
Battery for the computer could be longer lasting and a "turn off" for the computer will help.

The Phone dose not have "default" listings in their settings. So if you change a setting and close it, it stays that way. you might find defaults in the Help menu or in the manual. You can restore the computer to the original factory everything by following this procedure. open the battery cover, take out the battery,TAKE OUT YOUR SIM, put the battery back in, QUICKLY open the keypad and press Ctrl + Shift + F together. You will be asked by the phone to confirm format. Now BIG Warning... All of your personal stuff will be erased. Calender dates, etc. The phone will be the same as you pulled it out of the box for the 1st time. If you are with cingular, you will have some extra software to reinstall from your PC. What I don't know. Maybe WAP settings or something. Thats just what I heard. I have T-Mobile, and the first time I hit the web connection, the phone asked if it should use T-Zones. Wow my old phone was a song and a dance to set up a dial up connection.
Now on to MY review. I love this phone. I have used the 9290 for three years now, and the 9300 is more powerful, smaller, easer to operate. A really good WAPer. I do billing right out of my phone, so convenient.
There three really big draw backs over the old 9290. the speaker phone is crap. Tinny and brash. the resident font in the sticky notes is so small, I have to pull the phone up to my face to see what I am typing. And when I use the calculator, I have to use the shift key to hit + and -.
Too bad Nokia slipped back on a couple of things, when they made so many great strides on the rest of the phone.
Over all its still a 9.9999999 out of 10
