Push technology is available on these phones (and virtually all others) now via EMO - Ericsson Mobile Office - at least at a corporate level... Have trialed this as well as an iMate Jam. This seems heavier, slower and not as intuitive as the Jam. It occasianally (obnce a day?) goes really slow for about a minute then recovers. Heavy...

I have a nigling feeling that most cell phone companies are screwing customers

Remember Nokia 5110 or the 6210 those of us who used these phones know they are stable , can withstand a lot of abuse and have excellent battery life.

Technology has progressed but cell phones are becoming more flimsy ... battery life bad (yeah we all know that there are more applications and features) , display screens loose their lusture really fast and software crappy.

I wonder if this is a delibrate strategy by cell companies to ensure speedy product obsolence so as to ensure continued profits

For the first time,i was falling in love with 9300...So slim and smart...But i'm very dissapointed coz it always hang although i don't use much memory inside...The limitation is it doesn't have Wi-Fi technology...

            to adam,
m8 i think the only thing you could do is send your phone to nokia or your sevice provider themselves. if it needs new software that's probly the quickest way to get your phone up and running again.

            to PMF (Paul),
m8 this is a good phone for office documents but if you want something that can receive E-mail more efficently then my suggestion is a blackberry phone. you can receive you're E-mails instantly to your phone and it will also be cheaper to do this. once again it all depends on exactly how you would like to use phone. hope this helps guys. :)

Somebody help me, please!!!!!!!!!! I've got n9300 for a month (as for me it's excellent phone when it works), but... I've installed some soft downloaded form the net and the system of n9300 crushed (no option worked; all icons looked the same). so i rebooted it, but it hasn't started at all (there is only screen with logo of Nokia on the big screen). what's more, the external phone doesn't work! when i try to switch it on, there's only light on. no other reaction at all.

i assume that i've got probably some damage of the operating system (symbian 7 os). so, how to install it? (there's no connection to pc suite application - it says that the phone is dissconnected or damaged) where to find installation version of the system?

HAS ANYONE HAD SUCH S.H.I.T WITH A N9300?

i am waiting for some suggestions for which i'll be grateful.

Hey fellow PDA and smartphone users etc.The 9300 nokia is living up to its part.It has its excellent ratings as follows:

*great speed of data, full type/querty board, great solid build, battery life ,screen, bluetooth and overall small physicaL SIZE.

*After market upgrades are even better and alot are free of charge.

*If looking for over 600 new software sytem acceptable downloads go to symbian software tittles or hango same. Also the company VEGA offers the best geek holsters of solid leather ultra tight fit in your choice of colors with a direct belt feed,so you cannot drop the smart phone 9300 ever, awsome, two thums up!.

Cool, now heres the negatives, not alot although.

*their is no vibrate or camera which is clearly stated before purchase.

*if the software seems to run slow---never, should be your response. Then you should upgrade free at the nokia site under software currently 6.0 pc suite. Also check regulary that your anti-virus is on if surfing, especially on adult sites, since spyware and adware will slow you down!.

*Remeber its electronic, so keep it dry, dont ever drop it.

I have used palm tops, hand helds for over twenty years now and read intensily. This 9300 nokia is factually the best value at $549.00@ samstores.

However if you want that bigger and better then try the I-Mate jasjar just released. Its great for $1300.00.Think about that.

Any questions on your nokia 9300 only E-mail me @ michael81120002000@yahoo.com.

Enjoy the best of the best nokia 9300.

I have been using the 9300 for 2wks now. I'm still confused on the verdict. the display is very attractive, the web broser is fantastic. but its a slow phone for txt and calling. no vibration alert, no dictionary, few softwares available. in the past 2 days i have been experiencing the phone restarting by it itself. my wife has a P900 and she does not experience this. the p900 is also has a faster response.

bk buy the P910 ... 9300 has a lot of problems and service is bad.
Nokia has made too many comprimises in the 9500 and 9300 that it makes these two phones unattractive.... sad though because they were the pioneers in the communicator / biz phone category.

My 9300 has developed a problem a sticky mouse which makes it impossible to browse websites. Also you cannot turn off the 'interior' of the device, just the actual phone.

Answer to a previous request:NO, the phone does NOT have vibration.Still, its an excellent tool,i would say,for work and fun.More a combination of PDA and laptop than a phone.

Nokia 9300 is definately a good, no nonsense, multipurpose handheld device. But my phone has been giving some problems from day 1. Swithing 'ON' is a problem at times, it just hangs. Today I faced an isse where it did not access the file manager, Images, and media. Later when this worked it did not read the card for a while.

But still I am in love with it, you need to give it time I guess (like your love).
