Hi, i've been using the 9300 for some time now.. Its a decent business phone... Though i would have wished to have more apps loaded alongwith the phone... Is there any site where it is possible to download FREE applications for the 9300..

the phone is good in size but should have camera and outer screen should be colored, communicator has all the features which are required these days, speed should be good,it should come with a classy fm stereo and the most important thing of all the battery backup should be powerfull otherwise all the functions it carries are simply useless

I have a query. when using the phone cover contact list, I can only search for names based on the persons surname - so if I type say "NA" I will get a listing of all names having a surname beginning with "NA". However, on the inside application contact directory and telephone directory I can configure the search to be based on either first name or last name or both. Is there a way to configure the phone cover contact list to searchthe same way.

              thanks

9300 :P haha maybe im biased

                        Never tried d500 but i have 6630 and 9300
i prefer 99300 than 6630. Both are the best phone but i just prefer 9300 without reasons. U just have to feel the 9300 in your hands to understand what i mean :P

just having used 9500 and p910 along with this phone i had three phones just three days back but i just sold the other two off (9500 and p910) for a moto v3 cuz i just realized having this 9300 i didnt need 9500 my reason for letting go off 9500 although it happens to be superb was its size which is way too big and for throwing off p910 is that its accessories are not widely availible although it was rock solid in stability it simply didnt have as many features for a flagship model from a company as good as SE not to forget it was a smartphone and not a communicator lets classify smartphones and communicators smartphones are pda enabled phones whereas communicators are phone enabled pdas the reason for keeping my 9300 is that i dont need a cam phone cuz i have a 7 mp sony dsc-p150 for that second is that its smaller than the 9500 and has a superb keyboard and if i need photos on the go i always have the v3 so no need of keeping two other bulky devices jus for the camera the summary is 9300 rocks

Ankuish 9300 is a business phone with not as powerful multimedia capabilities of the 6630. I truely recommend the 9300 if multimedia is not really important to you.
Btw 9300 roxxxs!!! i have 6630 and its really good too

Very good phone. In my opinion better then the bulky mama Nokia 9500. The only major gap between 9300 and 9500 is the camera and WiFi connection. But the camera of 9500 sucks anyway with no quality. Even the camera of 6230 is better comparing to the camera of 9500.
I had oppourtunity to use both 9500 and 9300. I will recommend 9300 always.Especially because of its handy size and weight. Yeah 9300 does from time to time become slow and hangs up but it is OK. The only thing that I need this phone to have is the compatability to read ' pdb ' files. Since more literature is available in pdb format.
Does anyone know any pdb to prc convertor program?

Have been using the 9300 for 2 months now, the more I use it, the more I like it. The best tool around in the field. Have beefed it up with 3rd party software and this in addition to EDGE gives me an ideal tool for remote managing all our systems if needed.
And a big plus for the camera being omitted. In my work I very often go to places where no camera equipment is allowed, not even phones with cameras.

the 9300 is a tool, the one who buys an 9300 for only fun and showing off will be disappointed, but if you need the raw power of the 9300, you won't be disappointed.
