Is it me or this phone is really very slow ? I tought it was a memory problem but I checked that in phone memory I still have 72 MB and in card memory I still have 82% of 512MB free memory.

Does anybody have an idea why this phone is slow ?

        I am a Namibian and would like to know if the 9500 has a dictionary and a feature for spelling. My 6310i had both. A great phone, but could do with a better camera and can't use MP3 as ringtone. Please let me know. NAMIBIA LAND OF THE BRAVE.

            Its sloooooow!
            The contact book on "the outside" of the communicator sometimes takes several seconds to perform a lookup...

                  I recently purchased by 9500 Communicator. I have been having problems with the following ;

                  1 - When charging my phone, the scroll bar does not come to a stop even after 12 hours of charging. I do not experience any drop in battery span. The battery span is the same whether I charge it for 90 mins or 4 hours or more.

                  Could someone kindly let me know any remedial measures to rectify this problem ?

                  2 - I am unable to register my phone at www.n9500.com it says the IMEI Number is not recognized. Any possible reasons ?

                  Your assistance will be wellcome.

                  Thanks

                          A great device. I have always had communicators and have seen how they have developed. There is a new 9300i coming out soon and i hope that the 9500i will be developed. It could improve the camera. Also like the new o2 palm it can go 3g, a faster prossesor, maybe a bit smaller. and maybe the possible TV. This would be the ultimate communicator, and i believe this is the future of this device.

                                I just bought my Nokia 9500 yesterday. So far it has been the best phone i have ever used. I tried every program in it and it works perfectly although sometimes the programs work slow but its bearable. I am really satisfied with my phone and I intend to keep my phone until the next communicator comes out, But that wouldn't happen until the next 2 to 3 years. So for now i'm going to enjoy my new phone. Thanks Nokia for making such a great device. =)

                                  TO NOKCOM just read your comments on n9000 site.i was being nostalgic and looking up 3310 & 3330 models as there are still lots about & saying how good it was back then & exciting getting your next fone.Do you remember the fiasco when they brought out the next 2 communicators & still did not employ GPRS technology.With 2 fones coming out after such a long time that nextime they might make it 3g,1 m/pixel and 16 million color screen etc & ruin what is a good product.Have not had a communicator yet but always considered it,but with no one ever having one where i live or never actually had a go on one its hard to judge whether i would get used to it.Another issue is it always says in every review that its underpowered which can infuriate ,,it could also therefore suggest poor video playback?

                                    A lot better than my previous 9210i. It has everything that I need including the camera and wifi. It can now read adobe files.I am happy with the file management system. It is a lot easier now to transfer files from the PC to the unit and vice versa. It is almost perfect.

                                        Communicator 9500 specification says that it has office applications. Does that mean MS Office applications such as word, excel, powerpoint and Outlook or equivalent ?
