the 9500 is not what a phone should be, this is what it could be.
as far as i know it is the most option packed phone out there, and everything in it works, most work well enough.
the pc suite is something i couldn't get to work, yet, but i'm researching it.
as for the size, i like it, it feels luxurious and business-like

long awaited,I do not like the fact that you have to use keys on the right side of the screen when surfing.while your left hand, thumb and the far left keys on the key bord are left unused, i think and hope that first software upgrade will take that in to account.

Greeting
I would like to check with anyone are there any method that Nokia
9500 with the service of EDGE and connect to Laptop?
I do know that one of the method is via Bluetooth however since
Bluetooth is an open standard so the speed might narrowed down the
speed.
As to share that EDGE speed with upload and download is 384 kbps. I
have tested it out that if I were to browse through the site within
the Nokia 9500 then the speed is fast. However if I were to connect
my laptop to Nokia 9500 via bluetooth, the site that I browsed
through IE(Laptop) is very slow.
Hope to hear from the forum group members.
Thanks
Regard
Darren

good stuff but as usual nothing can be perfect and this phone also has few weak points.
it is too slow.
lack of vibration function and lack of many necessay functions on outer small display menu.
display is excellent and you won't miss your wide screen tv watching a movie clip on the inside screen of 9500.
recommended only for serious clients. if you buy this product only because of its look. then am sure you will be fed up with its size. for the communictor lover this is an excellent piece.

I also have 9210i and when I activate the fax modem from the telephone it works fine, but with 9500 I have no chance to send a fax from Windows. I tried to send a fax from the telephone itself and it works so the fax is not broken.

I would like to know how it is possible to send a fax from Windows standart fax program through Nokia 9500. I installed the IrDA drivers coming from Nokia web site but even then it doesn't want to send the fax. Windows is coming up with a message that there is a problem while trying to send the fax. The same happen when I try to use the USB cable. I was wondering if somebody have solution for this issue.

Nokia 9500 can take up to 1GB MMC card max. Now I am using TwinMOS 1GB MMC card for my 9500. I can download a lot of MP3.
