Anonymous, 14 Jan 2019Nokia is a Chinese brand, that is why no 3.5mm jack...What are you talking about, first Nokia is a Finnish company, and the fact that there is no 3.5mm jack is because of water/dust proof like many others company who did the same as Samsung, Apple, Motorola and the future generation of LG phone... its is not safe to add a jack with brass connection inside when you in to water it result with fast corrosion inside and connection problem, if the corrosion spread you phone cant stay stuck in headphone mode !!

Nokia (HMD) has no Economic chains, so it's not lucrative to provide a high-end device. However, after 2 years they decided to (almost) do it with Nokia 9. A bit innovating, hope to reach the top in camera listings (dx0mark). Chip 845 instead of 855 is to keep the price in a rational level, because nobody will spend over 800€ for a Nokia device at this time..
For me is the next device! :)

The Nokia 9 has 128 Gb storage already onboard.
Who said there will be not a dual sim version?
The only downside 4 me would be a glass back. Hate that. Dealbreaker!
Would be great if Nokia birthed an shick free water resustant Rugged phone!

Great specs but in 2019 Nokia is still giving Hybrid SIM.. Comeon nokia, learn from mistakes u made in past.
full time dual sim and dedicated Micro SD slot is necessity in 2019.

This would have been an excellent phone, If it was launched 2 years ago.
But the 855 is around the corner now and it seems that by the time this phone will be at the shelves, so will the S10
750euros if flagship territory, but late flagships now go beyond 1000.
Another piece of concerns are the bezels, yes there is a pretty vocal minority with hands as big as Bigfoot's who need those bezels, but just look at this chin!
Somebody who pays a premium and buys this chin in 2019 will look so outdated and the phone itself looks so cheap and faulted, even other cheap Chinese phones don't look so bad. Since they went huge bezels, why didn't they at least keep the 16:9 format, which is a format since appreciate so much, that could help living with the compromise those bezels mean.
Bold move from the Chinese to launch such a phone with the 845, such bezels and charge it more than twice as the pocophone, they really believe that ppl would buy anything has the Nokia stamp on it...

Exactly! I love what Nokia is doing but they need to keep the phone at a reasonable price! I'm assuming because of all those cameras they think pricing it high is reasonable but a Google Pixel 3 would do just as good or even better at the same price...
