Dual Standby means that both SIMS are active all the time, and once you receive or make a call thru one sim the other gets inactive for the same time.
it means you are unable to make a conference call using both SIMS.

AnonD-36777, 04 Jan 2012means both sims work at same time?in asha 200?its a dual standby, both the sim will be in on state... so u can call and msg using any sim as u want... only thing is if u r talking in sim A u wont receive a call from sim B till u ends ur call ...

Royal Priest, 03 Jan 2012Could someone please help me explain the difference between... morehey mate, in dual standby, for eg if u r talking in sim A, if someone trying to call u in sim B they will get a not reacheable tone or switched off tone and u wont get call waiting alert... that means both the sim will be in on state,but u can use only one sim for incoming call at a particular time... other than this u can receive sms from both the sim at a time...
in dual active, if u r talking in sim A, if someone trying to call u in sim B they will get a busy tone and u will get a call waiting alert... here too both sims is in on state, u can receive both sms and calls in both sims at a particular time..this is the main difference...
in both dual active and standby ... u can call and send messages normally jus by selecting the respective sim tht u want to use ...

Nokia makes these brilliant phones but almost always leaves us with an anticlimax when it comes to internal memory. 10mb for most people is not enough. A minimum 50mb is needed by most people, what with the multimedia messages and all. the C5 5MP has a glorious amount of internal memory and I love mine. I just wish most of the other Nokia devices can have as much internal memory. As for Samsung, when it comes to internal memory, they are sleeping, sorry, they are snoring.

yah... here is nok asha 200. i bought this phone 2 days back in light pink color, which is very nice and beautiful phone. light pink look kills,,, trust me guys.. +points are: duel stand-by sim, heavy duty battery, free memory card 2gb, good internet speed, comfortable to use. -points : no youtube, no whats app, less functions(nothing is new. if ur planning to go for x2-01 then go for asha and if ur budget is more and want android machine go for sammy galaxy y.

Why is Nokia playing mind games with us? Since announcing this phone in October, no other specifics have followed. The only reason I am not buying a Samsung dual sim is because they dont sort the music library well. Nokia had better not delay any further, else that's one more potential customer gone!
