Media player does not support the key Nokia video codecs. Namely H.263 and MPEG-4. Supports H.264 but will slow down the entire video and sound playback.
I prefer my E63 than the 201. But the 201 has a beefy battery.

This phone is little bit suks. battery backup is OK. but automatic restart problem have. last month ear pees goes. i will replace the ear pees also. i have use only 6 month. Nokia quality is now very poor. whats app running well, but slow. sometimes restart automatically. here Sri Lanka price is Rs 9,000/- its little bit OK for that much price tag. if u need only fast texting and calling, buy this one. again i mention, battery backup is great. but u expect more than that, don't buy it. camera is not good, but OK in good light condition. OS have some improvement. it have some userfriendly features. ill appreciate it Nokia. before buy this one, think twice. don't expect too much than fast texting and calling. thank u.

I will buy this phone as a back-up to my iPhone This phone for me, is only for taking and texting. I have an iPhone and iPad. It can take my mini-sim from my iPhone 4. Thank You

its a grt 4n but its slow on the net it does not support many applications eg adobe flashplayer. And its player doesnot support many types of videos even the HQ 3gp.

i just bought it a few days ago and it works just fine but the whatsapp and the net isnt working. and an error is coming saying the link is not available even though i have packet data which it is asking for. can anyone tell me what to do?

u are not satisfied by your nokia asha 201 cause u want it to run like a iphone 5 with the exact aplications well its a simple phone and highly ressilient i like it

Can anybody tell me how to configure T-com e-mail on Nokia Asha 201?I_m living in Croatia, Europe.I configured gmail and yahoo!mail by typing in the e-mail address and the password for each. So it seems easily for T-com e-mail too by the same way but it isn_t. After typing in the T-com e-address and the password, the recoming information is to check out the details of the registration and to try once again when typing under option "other" in the list of all kinds od e-mails that are offered (gmail,yahoo!mail,windows live hotmail, vipnet,iskon and this famous "other").Only once it gave me a questionnaire to fullfill with the username, the name of outgoing server and it_s port, the name of incoming server and it_s port and to make a confirmation the one of a possibillities for both of severs which are: 1.nothing; 2.SSL; 3.TLS.I cannot do it once again. There are such a few possibillities as "options" (under that are nothing with the threatment), "report" and "cancel". Can anybody tell me what to do to appear that questionnaire again and again? Then I_ll be able to configure this problematic T-com e-mail. I beg everyone who knows a solution for a help! Thankfully.
