It's pretty awesome phone, I got it myself just yesterday, and I really really like it...
@LEo if you haven't figured it out yet go to "Settings -> Phone settings" and scroll down to "Network mode"

Nokia Asha 300 is a very best mobile. I was purchased a new one asha 300 mobile from kerala TVM Distt. show room. it is very best mobile and camera is very-very best clarity and its battery is very best.

nokia asha 300 a good mobile phone, but i got a mobile for asha 300, its very very bad mobile, because mobile used only 2 months,menu option la 1 menu missing, then suddenly switch off a mobile in automaticaly. WHAT CAN I DO SIR?

No hang problem using net. Music OK in loud speakers but in earphone not good.

Always been a Nokia fan and the Asha 300 does not disappoint. Did not want a "smart" phone, just a solid reliable basic communications device,and the Asha delivers this with ease and am still discovering more cool features. The touch screen is smooth and friendly and the menu logic typically Nokia - excellent. A lot of features including an excellent camera for a small outlay.

A very good phone. i think this is the best phone in this category considering the amazing price it comes with. i have used the phone for 3 months now and i can't regret buying it as a present for a dear friend. Those who are against this shud come clean and pin point the disadvntgs coz am blinded by this phone. Kudos symbian company and Nokia 300 is a real bargain!

It is really good phone no hanging problems fast.but one problem in it that is it has no navigation buttons and many apps play with these buttons

you guys who are complaining its battery life should turn off 3G network and use the set with only GSM mode.......... battery timing would be impressive..

i bought this phone yesterday ,i must say this is really a very good phone especially 1 ghz processor and 5 mp camera which you will not get in this range.if u have nokia c5-05 and nokia 300asha on your choice list then go for asha300 :)
