seriously this phone is out of order ; mixing conversations , susceptible to viruses ,lacks wall paper apps etc. . . what happnd to nokia...? im regreting y i purchased it. tecno tv 70 is far much better...

AnonD-85879, 05 Dec 2012hie can u plz say me how u updated i was nt gettng any upda... moreThis phone looks pretty classy bt seriously, its lacking some good applications esp...whatsapp..and the fact that its not a smart phone degrades it even more...and mixing of text conversations irritates alot:-(. Nokia 305 should be taken back to its manufactures to be upgraded.

In Device updates menu, click on "Download phone sw"
Phone will warn you about connecting to Internet. Click yes. Make sure internet plan is active on SIM 1 in your phone. Phone will fetch details of new software version from Nokia servers and you can start downloading it. Update is ~3.5MB in size and takes approx. 15 mins to download and install. While its updating, you can not use it even for phone calls.

Feeling good to use after updating the OS,now it supports youtube. Touch is not bad as considering it is a resistive touch screen. But this is not a smart phone.
