i purchased asha311 on 3 months ago.if u want on this budget (6450) it's likelly okay.i want tell u what are merits and demerits ithave.
merits-1.camera quality likelly okay.
2.fast enternet.it have sensor so u can play more games
demeris-it doesn't a multitask phone.
battery backup is very poor.
wifi connectivity is also very poor
video resloution is less as compared to other smart phoe.
doesn't have password option on message and phonebook
doesn't have secondary camera
and flash.

What makes a phone smart? my opinion- a phone with having advanced features like 3g, wifi, good camera, better screen, good battery, like that. it do not depend only in its os. multitasking is a bonus point but it not a must having feature also app support is good. And the phone should be long lasting, must have a high re sale value (my name is PrJ)

I need a smartfone so wen i browsd thru d asha smartfones,i prefer d 311 but d problem is dat it has 1 sim & i use 2 sims on my asha 200.So wich shud i go 4 & wat are d prices in nigeria.& wat is d diff btw smartphones & android phones.if ders any android fone dats d same price wit asha 311 pls let me know

immu, 12 Dec 2012can we use this phone connected with pc suite internet?Yaa u can use it as modem for pc but u have 2 download pc suite for asha 311 from nokia website, else it will not work in earlier versions....

hello friends nokia asha 311 is very good mobile for internet because it give u class 33 EDGE which is faster than galaxy y which has class 12 EDGE and 3G speed of noki asha 311 is 14.4 mbps which is more than galaxy y 7.2 mbps

NOKIA ASHA 311 is a very good phone if u want a very good faster internet because its has class 33 EDGE which is better than samsung galaxy y which has only class 12 EDGE and 3G net speed of NOKIA ASHA 311 is 14.4 MBPS whcih is also faster than galaxy y which has only 7.2 MBPS

it is very good phone better than samsung galaxy duos lite,i brought it last week,very fast internet,very good btary back up,no one better than nokia at same price

For the mom who looking for a phone for her daughter- asha 311 is s40 phone with 1ghz processor, 3 inch capasitive touch screen, 3.2mp camera, good looking nice phone better for who dont need many apps or 311 is not for app maniacs

Primitive, poor developer support and worthless except in cheap basic phones. You may have Whatsapp and email, but what else? I suggest you spend a little more and buy your daughter a real smartphone with Android 2.3 and above.

For all who need a secondary camera this phone please realise that nokia 603 is worth 12500 INR (double of 311) dont have secondary camera!! Then how can you ask for it on a 6000 INR phone
