not so good... i bought it before 2 years it worked well only for 3 months... its lock button doesnt work properly.. dis phone automatically get switch off or restart...touch is very good..camera is also ok.... net works very much fast...i use it becoz of its speed. . i wud reccommend u not to buy dis phone.

My phone is complaint eight times within one year .nokia service quality very bad.very very bad phone for five thousand range

If the sim is ok with other phone and it shows no issues then the problem lies within the phone. Try to restore the phone and then put the sim. I think it may b the problem of the sim with my xprnc with this phone.

my Nokia Asha 311, is turning off after startup tone, when there's a sim card inserted on it, but when i remove the sim card and i turn on again, my phone did'nt turn off, in other words, i can use my phone when there's no sim card inserted, how can i fix it, is there someone have the same problem like me, how can i fix it?

Nokia 311 users dont expect another software updates. It stops the updates. No new software updates.

I have been using it since 2 years,camera quality not bad,not gud too,net speed is just wow,for gaming purpose its also gud,it hangs a lot :( ,but it runs so smoothly

Lol its a worst phone ever produded by nokia..
we can only use for calling purposes..
The mejor draw backs are:
1. No text copiying
2. no any direct sharing to social app like whatsapp
3. Capture sound can not be mute even in silent mode
4. all the application are comes with lower configuration . (whatsapp,hike,wechat etc)
5. hangs when doing continuos chatting or say important chatting we hve to restart it..
6. i have do my phone up-to-date every time but still it hangs and no more features could be added..
got too much irritate after buy it.. :/

Gaz, 12 Jul 2014I have just received a Nokia 311 and it has a micro sim but... moreI think yes, as long as you have registered the phone number from the sim, you can use whatsapp. I can use whatsapp on a Phone without a simcard, as long as I haven't registered whatsapp on another phone with that number. You can use whatsapp only on one Phone at the time, so I think it won't be a problem.
