Nokia 1100, 31 Oct 20121ghz means very past movments. even Nokia can fit it 600mhz... moreAsha 311 good for phone for Nokia pro.. if compare to the old model but if compare to android phone are still very poor.

this speet is very fase for internet, but almost we can not play videos.
one more this i cannot connect internet by using PC suite. i'm really disapointed for this mobile.
who want simple phone, it's ok but diff... from heavy user.

That does not mean that it requires this processor, it means that it would destroy your 600MHZ on any aspect. More power - less lag. This is why the nokia has a 1GHZ processor

if htc explorer can run android 2.3.5 with its 600Mhz almost smoothly, y does asha 311 require 1Ghz to run its s40 SW...what a gimmick by nokia

Hi people. I need your advice. I'm looking for a phone for my girlfriend. Been considering this or a Samsung Galaxy Y. But my problem is Android. I have an android phone myself and it eats data like crazy. Even if I leave it idle for a day it will eat about 5MB - and thats with background data switched off. How does Asha 311 fare in this area? Does it also access data by itself? If you leave it idle for a day, can you expect to find the same amount of data that you had in the beginning?

Huy guys, this is the best smartphone for entry level in law(affordable) budget & but there are better option too lika asha 300,asha 302 & 303. All are tuch & type phone with good hardweare,choice of your, all are giving better user interface & perforemers too,so take advantege & enjoy it.

i think nokia asha 311 is not beeter than nokia 500.it can not support on line streaming video.it is also a java phone.
