I've been using this Asha 311 for about 2 weeks. And I dare to say, it's the best phone that you can get for a low price. What i like the most 'bout this phone is, its processor.. it is incredibly fast. Seriously! I don't have to really touch the screen (I mean, just a slight touch on the screen, and the phone follow your finger movement smoothly!)And messaging seems to be even better with this phone. Easy to type, but if you use QWERTY keys, it might be little problem (as its screen is not that big - 3" only) Its camera is okay. Clear pictures. And, what makes this phone even batter is, the EA free games (eventhough some of the free games is not really 'wow'ing). There's no Android OS operating in this phone, but it's still okay. I've no problem with it. The games are great, but aren't sharp as you expect. Overall, it's a very nice, great phone. Nokia did well! I recommend this phone to first-time smartphones users and those who wants more for less costs.

Hai guys, (this is for asha 311 users only) i saw lot of peoples complaing about the display of the phone(56k) is it a real problem? and what will the results of the screen of asha 311 when watching videos? Give me a replay soon

sam, 28 Aug 2012nokia 5233 is much better thn asha series, if 5233 only had... more@sam= bro, at first update your views, Nokia 5233 is a outdated and dumb phone if i compare it from today's mobiles or i placed in feature phones categories.
Nokia 311 is smartphone and its all criteria is so sleek,updated, fast and long going smartphone.

This Model is superior and best and authentic price in exchange of services.

I don't think so, if i compare then find that the main thing called 3G+HSDPA or HSPA is low(7.2 mbps) in "sony xperia tipo" and High in "ASHA 311"(14.4 mbps+5mbps)
also the processor in "sony xperia tipo" has low frequency or low clock rate (800mhz), but in ASHA 311 has 1GHZ speed(super fast).
if i consider in camera then 3.2 mega-pixel is high and sufficient for everyone.
if you think that this is significant part of mobile then i recommended you to buy a Digi-cam or a digital camera.
RAM is sufficient in ASHA 311(128mb).
so ASHA is most significant mobile in all brand.
also price in retail store is less than 9000 rs.

Nokia Asha 311 is tremendous handset, if i compare this with other handset like "karbonn A7", "LG optimus+tab", "Samsung galaxy" the nokia 311 is superior than this handsets.
3G is best in asha 311 with HSDPA 14.4 mbps downlink and HSUPA above 5 mbps.
others handset is low in compare with asha 311.
extra feature like super fast 1GHz processor, RAM-128 mb, mass memory-256,ROM-108mb, accelerometer-sensor , proximity-sensor, ambient-sensor,
GPRS,EDGE,WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n,
Bluetooth with EDR , mutitouch,camera-3.2mega-pixel
this is everything what you need.

Do any one tried music with headfone? In my set only one speaker is functioning as there remains a gap between the body and the inserted 3.5 jack. But with a samsung headset it is OK as there is no gap.
