Hello Friends...!
Actually I was waiting to buy this phone after my phone was lost in transit while coming from Vizianagaram on 12-Jun-2012....
On 12-Aug-2012, I went to Reliance Digital and asked its arrival, they said, it may be coming but not sure, when it will come. They proposed Lumia 610, and I bought it worth 12,808.
It was a bit uneasy to operate the WP, so I planned to go for 311, But alas, I ended up in a old mobile shop which has 701 instead.
I was compelled to buy that phone for 18,000. My Longing for 311 left aside. Had I waited another day or two, I could have saved 11,000 or 23,208 rupees. The 311 was available at a nearby store for 7,600.
Alas...! Hastiness took my money away...! Putting me into dilemma on what to do with those phones...! The Shop owner does not want to exchange nor the other one. My dream to own this phone remained unsatisfied...! :(

only 3.... moreThis phone is a low end one, therefore it is not having a good quality camera nor a GPS. But I can say it is a shame to not have a GPS on such a phone in this class, even Galaxy Pocket has one.
Even though the battery capacity is low, that does not mean that it is going to drain fast. This OS is not resource intensive and the screen has 56k colours, and I believe that the screen is not going to use a lot of power, except if the brightness is again not adjustable. In that case I will agree with you.
128MB of RAM is perfect for this OS. See some phones like Asha 202, which has only 32MB of RAM, running the same OS and they perform well.

IMO.. Nokia u r always best.. For d price tag it doesnt mis any feature. But for my requirement it lacks flash, gps and autofocus camera(okay).. In Software side i need multitasking..
Anyway it is a very good phone without them also. But it lacks some of my needs for me to hav it..

hi i jest got the Asha 311 phone in bangalore for Rs 6500/- phone is good it as very good quality sound, ok display for middle range phone, video play is good but no rewind or forward option, touch screen is super fast.

Does nokia asha 311 fone come with a USB data cable in the box or not ? My bro yestrday bought it bt no usb data cable. Let me know. With regards.
