Nokia.com has no info about the colours though.
Asha 303 has 256k too.

i think better to purchase china mobile. try to something learn from HTC samsung sony LG Motorola..

Also check flipkart.com where the Asha 305 is available. Asha 305 and Asha 311 have same display colour.

Brown, 23 Jul 2012I don't undrstnd y nokia is coming up with such low quality... moreHave u ever used the phone. It has swipe UI. This is the most beautiful UI in a featurephone.(even better than low end droids and Symbian S60).
Lol. Use it before comment. Check the demo of the UI in youtube.
And for apps, S40 has enough basic apps for our daily requirements. Note: don't compare with Android. Bcoz it's a smartphone OS.
And the new S40 touch is the king of featurephone OS.

i don't think they're actually trying to mislead anyone. i think it's just a typo. the asha 311 delivers 256K (not 56k) color on its screen.
