People please stop comparing this one with iPhone and similar phones, they're smartphones. This one is just a normal Symbian phone with touchscreen, not a smartphone. With a cheap price but many functions, I think this phone is quite good.

the phone's OS and UI looks like meego, but its not meego! only a newer version of S40! meaning still limited set of apps and no multitasking!
if nokia just choose symbian as their low end OS instead of this good looking yet awful S40.. they could compete to low end cheap androids!!!! symbian has at least 100000 set of apps of ovi and s40 only has 25000! and the only problem with symbian is that limited apps and the UI is still far comparable to android and iOS even WP!! but symbian dont lag like android do and dont consume battery fast!
nokia should listen to what i said! they should at least consider what i propose! run the symbian OS on low end market instead of S40.... symbian can be comparable to the low end market of android! and s40 isnt even close to android!
these asha lines might be a big seller because of its looks and its UI but to be honest it has the most outdated OS in the world! and lack of apps!!! even though they brought namco's old games like pacman on the s40 but this century already looking forward on the next 3D games!!!!
again... SYMBIAN FOR LOW END MARKET!!! not S40!!!!
dont kill symbian!!! there are still symbian fans in this world!

Tayyab, 20 Jul 2012I'm a nokia user using nokia 500 for few months and my expe... morefirst of all, you bought a very bad version of nokia! nokia 500 is a low end symbian that is overprice and not competitive! if this nokia asha touch is even worst in terms of apps because its s40 and much limited set of apps (only 25000 unlike symbian's 100000) and no multitasking! this targets the young people that dont know about technology because of its looks! they dont know what this phone's capable of!
if you buy at least nokia 701, you'll have satisfaction!

I'm a nokia user using nokia 500 for few months and my experience is I'd never prefer to buy nokia once again because of its performance and limitation of apps on ovi store next time I shall go for iphone or may be android because they are much better than nokia and you can find thousands of app on their stores... don't bye nokia go for android or iphone they are much better than nokia in all aspects..

Android is a power hungry mothafucka.
Plz dont compare the 2 phone.

A simple phone like LG L3 is even cheaper and far better with great speed and tons of free apps and games from Android market...Worst mistake ever from Nokia not to go for Android.
