It is as near to a smartphone os as it can be. In future, the difference will come down more, and the user experience will be almost similar. It definitely would be much much better than entry- or mid- level droids.
I think people would stop griping if Nokia would have given this os a new fancy name.

No, it is just that Nokia threw most of their eggs into the windows basket, and I see egg on face for Nokia. Shame they did not fully update symbian, and by that mean a TOTAL remake, too late for Nokia I feel. Nokia produce fantastic designs and reasonable hardware, but that is it....the 'firmware' is total JUNK. You can now own yesterday's phone today!

After doing a lot of research, i think this phone is really gud for browsing, downloading, gaming, music, watching films, texting, facebook,etc.
i hope this phone comes to the market as soon as possible..i like it.it is a revolution for s40.
