well actually, i make this phone not as a phone but more like an ipod, really unique and fun! love it!

For the price, its a fabulous phone,some of the features people are cribbing about not being there, just doesn't matter, if people want a feature rich phone buy an iphone, galaxy S or Grand or a Z ultra and you get everything in that price range.(I own all of the above smartphones except the Z Ultra).
THe Asha 501 has a real good UI and a very good touch interface,OVERALL for the price it is a very very decent phone to own.......So if your budget is just this much .....don't think twice just buy it

1. No pdf. reader in it. 2. No copy/cut paste feature in it.
3. No FM recording option.
4. No Call recording option.
5. No multiple files sharing of music.(i.e., u cannot send Audio files more than one song at a time via bluetooth or any medium . even u cannot share any album at once.) One more thing u cannot share any things other than audio and video files through this phone.
6. Coming to alarm. I don't know why they gave this feature. as we dont have any option to change the volume of alarm. By default Alarm sound was fixed and it is very light so that u cannot even know that ur phone is sounding alarm while u are in sleep!

I used this handset. Mine was a single sim device. For normal use (without using internet) , its battery lasts for about one week. It doesn't support Whatsapp yet ,but it supports Line. Via Line i can send only one picture at a time and i cannot call trough Line. In comparison with android phone is different, the android phone can use free call via Line and can send up to ten photos at a time . This phone camera is 3.15MP but the picture quality is not so good..
