Nokia asha 501 is a very good phone but it doesn't support whatsapp. It is a very huge disadvantage.

dhiru, 09 May 2013nokia everything is ok but todays world runing on android a... moreAt the moment we need a phone with larger screen size, camera with flash (but camera quality should be checked before buying ). . .that's mean good battery, nice colour and design are not enough. I used Asha 200 before , its camera is 2 MP, but when we see its picture in my Laptop / Tablet ..its pictures are so nice even i made a photo in low light place. So all dear friend, before buying any phone we should test the camera too, we dont't count the number of mega pixel only. Nokia released so many candybar phones : 100, 101, 110, 111, 112, 109,105 ect.. with almost the same features. Some phone like: nokia 101 has black list but the others do not have, why nokia deduct the important feature like this. It should be always add more and more features to the new models to make the users happy to use it and also to compete the other competetors. So sorry that nokia abandoned Symbian and Meego. If Nokia upgrads Nokia N9 or Nokia E90 / E71, i think all the Nokia lovers are very satisfied:)

My problem with this phone is its failure to unlock. .it will hung up. .it has been repaired by nokia care yet the same problem exist. .you cannot answer calls when it is unlocked.
