I think Nokia will launch Asha full touch better and more expensive than Asha 501....I'm still waiting :)

when i used a motion wallpaper to lock screen, the wallpaper continue in still mood not in motion mood....why this problm????...i used this motion wallpaper in samsung duos slider n ths wallpapers worked finely....

hey guys dont talk about utube and whatsapp because this phone has only 64 mb of ram i mean it somtimes lag on my 2gb ram phone what about this

It's very simple. The Nokia Asha brand has 2 exciting phones the Asha 300 and the Asha 311. I hAd a 203 but it was laggy because of lack of ram, rom etc. The 300 is a good Asha with resistive touchscreen and a physical keyboard, the Asha 311 even better with capacitive full touch no keyboard. They're good bacause they have a good processor with 128mb ram 256mb rom clocking @1gHz. 3,75G is also available on those phones. Whats App is available, you can stream with pretty good quality, youtube and radio streaming. And the most important thing they run very smoothly, no lags at all. I put video's on my 311 with MP4 bitrate: 1500kb's@30 frames a second. It's like you watch in hd. By foot and a at least connection to the EDGE network you can even use Nokia Maps(gps). But this 501 is a big flop. 1 year has passed since they introduced asha 311, but this 501 is at least 3 times as slow as the 311. The price is €90 for the 311 so i would go for the Nokia Asha 311 if you want a good experience with Nokia's S40 software.

how can i set a mp3 tone as ring... moreIf want to set a particular song as your ringtone, then it will not work from your phone memory or from memory card.
You have to open the Music Player and then search the song which you want. Tap on the song and long press it, then there will be popup option as 'Set as ringtone'. After that there will be option to set to Sim 1 or Sim 2. Then you can set to the desired one.

Got this phone recently. For the price, it's a surprisingly good phone which can do lots of stuff. The interface is very intuitive and easy to use. As with all Nokia phones, this phone feels very sturdy and I'm sure it can handle a couple of drops and bumps. Overall I'm very pleased with the phone and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap smartphone. The only thing that can make it better is if it had WhatsApp, but I'm pretty happy with Line and WeChat at the moment.

this asha501 really sucks couldnt they put whatsapp as an option instead of we chat or line.my opinion is dont buy this dumb phone please
