I was using nokia n72.Buying nokia 501 I 've become fool.Neither it is a smartphone nor a featurephone.It is a phone for grandpa & grandma.There r so many limitations in using it.Yes,It can be said it's low budget phone.But the company is nokia.Here people must want something more.Otherwise a busket of smartphone makers r out there

Guys never go for ny of the nokia Asha phones the OS is disgusting . The Asha OS is last nail on the coffin of nokia. Symbian ws so nice they shd hv gone for android but seems nokia has promised to sink its ship.

this phone is very bad becoz not speed net downloading and one of the gd quailty is screen touch but his body are very bad

Nokia is lagging alot behind because of its regressive strategies and arrogance now. its high time they should introduce something big and better else it will extinct gradually. nokia lumia has only 2.7% mkt share world wide. and these basic phones will not help it much in gaining mkt share. wake up nokia...
i got this phone, used for two days. i was not satisfied with performance so exchanged it with a much better android by infusing more money. This phone is good for nothing. it has no apps, less ram, weak internals. overall a big noooo... dont go for it.

I found many good points such as display color, long last battery, fast internet , wifi, multi- lingual supported, good design ect. .You said that it is for poor people : I dont think so, it is good for all people to use as secondary phone or for those who does'nt have much money to buy high end smart phone. Asha 501 has Slam, Fastlane, Line & FB . Its camera is 3 MP but lacks of LED Flash. Anyway it is a good point for me that i know the new technology from Nokia and Asha OS. I hope after updating phone SW, i can get more apps. Thank you Nokia for always providing good service :)

Asha series phones r dumbs.There r so many ashas ,305,308,311,201,203,303 & so on.But tell me one handset which will be reminded for many upcoming years.Nokia is not tired producing these types of phones.And now they've brought Asha plateform 1.0 Where symbian anna ,belle.?This asha platform is new & will take its time to flourish. Think about the people who'll buy this phone and have to save his money for a phone with better asha platform.Why they did not bring only one phone after what people will not wait for its deve or its successor.

Look at this damn Moile Asha 501. what is the difeence of functions with Nokia C2-01. The only difeence yu will find is camera which 3 MP, and foolish OS. What is new in this Asha 501. Nothing just old ideas developed with better GUI. you can not find good functions, RAM, Internal RAM, Better OS, Etc. Dont buy nokia fo internet. This Company is only for middle class or poor people

I was a big fan of nokia before. Now as per my personal experience Nokia is a fool company dealing with Asha Lumia etc. Till now Nokia is failed to introduce a phone which is in comparision with Iphone, Sony HTC etc. Guys if you want to use internet with better speed and fucnton, dont buy Nokia.
