Its totally new OS for Asha so WatsApp require little time to develop app for this OS.Otherwise this phone is cool stuff.

why is nokia unable to launch fully andriod phone with 3g.....? thats the big problem bcoz samsung provides us all requirements in same price....

Hey guys...i know dat asha 501 doesnt support multi tasking......but if we are downloading any content,will it(downloading) continue in the background jus like android??

hey, does this phone supports multitasking? I mean opening 2 or more apps at the same time.. not RTOS..
And I would like to know if it is java based or not..

Nice phone for daily use like social browsing ,call and text. If you're a gamer better buy high end phones.

Phone is good in looks.
Pros : good browser.
Cons:
1. You cannot operate phone, when it is charging.
2. whatsapp not supported.
3. Phone doesnot have copy/cut/paste option. So please be ready to retype everything.
Still to explore many defects.

hey guys! i love nokia phones but i am facing a problem with that .wifi is weak. hd videos not play 720p and the big problem is that it cant suport brightness control

If you buy this phone you probably don't know what's good.
Nokia phones of nowadays are so inferior. I can't believe that Nokia INC can still come up with such rubbish console/device at this time(2013) this phone is totally wack even the whole of the Asha series. But a big thumbs up for Lumnia series.
