Nokia asha 501 daul sim is really good mobile for indian all student . everything is perfect in this mobile .
but we need whats's app for this mobile . we are still waiting whats app for NOKIA ASHA 501 .

2) don't want 3G
3) features available before the year 1997
4) don't want call recording facility
5) don't want high availability of apps
6) But want to spend around $95 (INR 5000/-)
Then they can choose NOKIA 501.

samsung galaxy star is pure crap!!!! dont buy it!!
don't be tempted that it has android.. android os is laggy... asha os 1.0 is new but the ui is so smooth even the softest touch it will respond.. ( personal experience )

Very good phone. I bought single sim Asha 501 because its standby time is double time longer than the dual sim variant. Futhermore phone is light weight and solid build. I am satisfied with Nokia Asha 501 features. .my email works fine with this phone but i prefere to use Line more than Gmail. It is my primary phone now but i dream to see Asha tablet and Asha high end phone in the nearest future :)

Daily Interest of NA 501 is more than the other higher ranged mobiles like NOKIA LUMIA, SAMSUNG GALAXY, SONY EXPERIA, LG, KARBONN, etc., etc., etc......
Unbelievable....... !!!!!!!!

I have one...it lags aloooot...and most apps crash....this galaxy star is total crap....don't get deceived that it has android..the phone at times becomes unusable and having android is totally useless as everything lags and crashes... advice to all choosing between asha 501 and galaxy star...go for the asha 501, everything runs smoothly (I saw it with a friend), if u buy a galaxy star, it will become ur nightmare and u will want to smash it against the wall

1. no 3g data which is important for social people
2. lower resolution make its harder for people to read when browsing website
3. smaller screen which is bad for your eye because need to stick close to eye
4. camera no autofocus will make ur harder to capture picture
p/s nokia still wasting money to sell this, nokia can make better than this. remember nokia produce better spec phone in 2007-2010. why dont nokia use those all spec and make sell with asha 501 price

Frendz who wants to buy a phone at dis range I prefer you to buy galaxy star and the reason is 1) better ram 2) star has a gud processor 3) has the android os which iz the best os ( asha os iz new and it needs much more improvment )

Nice phone :D I bought it last saturday.. even my friend was amazed by it's smooth UI and nice colors.. she was even shocked that my asha 501 has only 64mb of RAM and it doesn't lag even while playing games or just playing with the UI while her Android phone has 256mb of RAM and she said it lags very much..
over-all: PERFECT PHONE :D
lol, I looked at the iphone 5 voting results and the scores were 5.5, 5.2, 5.7
while asha 501 has a voting results of 8.4, 8.1 8.0 hahaha well done Nokia :)
