I'm still confused whether i should go for this phn or Samsung Galaxy Star s5282. Although i'm not a Samsung fan, i've been caught up with the OS (Android v.4.1 JB), which is not offerd by Nokia. Still can't make a choice. Need urgent advise.

at least a good pdf reader apps if available, this should be the must, but again the ram is too low

How can you compare a feature phone with smart phone?
I do know Nokia is king in feature phones, but can't beat entry level android phones as Android phones offer lot of applications
(may be some are not useful).

Who told you youtube and here maps does not work with wifi? Do you have the phone with you where you checked?
I have the phone asha 501 and I only use wifi on it and everything works fine; downloading apps, youtube, internet browsing, here maps etc etc...
So stop saying that you cant use anything using wifi on asha 501.

Its a good phone for beginners n for those who can not afford android or iphone.
And at the same time its the worst phone for techies as it has nothing much to offer except battery backup and design.

the phone is good infact best after nokia 311, but the lack of support for sync this phone is really irritating now, unless nokia releases a firmware very soon.

Great phone. Last night i was standing in the 9th floor, busy in a call and suddenly this phone fell off my hand and went down directly into water pool. I quickly went down by the lift and took out my phone out the water pool and was surprised to see that it was all working! Guys, if you thinking of getting a new phone, I'd suggest go for it as entry level Android phones are crap!
