This phone is really very interesting. I just want a phone for light web browsing and music playing, and I think this is enough to satisfy me. The battery life seems promising and the new OS looks to be a better performer than the Series 40. The design of this phone is really nice. The thing I am still confused about is its ability to play Youtube videos when on Wi-Fi. I think it is very unlikely to have it on this phone, but I would love to see it.

A few years ago I had a computer with only 32 mb ram, 300 mhz cpu, 8 mb video card, windows 95 and I played Half Life (Direct 3D game) on it perfectly at 640x480 resolution. So 64 mb ram is more than enough for a good optimized operating system and for 3d games in 640x480 resolution.

nick, 10 May 2013ram is very low(64mb)..... I think it doesn't works properly!!!!the lightweight os can manage at it.that just puts restriction on hd games,we can't have low end android hd games say cut the rope,fruit ninza,e.t.c. On asha as of now. Overall great specd phone with a very gud software.

Asha 311 is much better than asha 501. Asha 311 is feature phone but, it is better than samsung galaxy phones up to 10,000. Asha 501 is a falop handset.
