i have purchased assha 501 2 days back...
i was going through all opinions and found that it has the wifi problem.....all the apps except the browser worked on wifi..... even opera mini browser worked on wifi ....later i updated my nokia xpress browser..and it supported wifi.....just go to settings ...intall apps and run itwill ask for update.....2 new versions are avilable 3.0.7 and 3.0.0 i have 3.0.0 and it works

This phone has really superb touch, even the the guys having high end samsung and other smart phones, are telling about its good quality touch. Only problem with this phone is not having whatsapp, nimbuzz, it cant read pdf, ppt files, and it can send only images, videos and mp3, it cant send files rather than this formats. Except whatsapp and document viewer, it is good phone.

I tried it on the gprs, it works properly but gives error on WiFi... Help me plz...

Good looking mobile, good touch, battery back up, headset quality and camera.
Processing speed is very slow and internet too.
Touch is very slow when we are in higher end application.

I own Nokia501 and
1. Touch not works on right side edge of the screen
2. Camera sound can`t be turned off
3. You can't edit dialed number in dialer
4. During call you can't open Menu and after removing phone from ear screen is still blacks thats the annoying part.
