this is a scratch prone phone. buy the asha 503 instead because 503 has gorilla glass. or if you are willing to spend more cash buy the lumia 520. i bought this pgone today as backup phone for my lumia 720.. good points of asha 502 are loud loudspeaker and decent music player quality. i really hate the screen it is very scratch prone.

it cannot works with windows or android application, micromax a67 is better for comparing this phone..

its very bad we cannot set wallpaper for home screen sound is not enough, it does not provide apps like google talk. i am thinking now why i purchase this mobile although i buy it 4 days ago but i didnt like it . its a failure piece.

I have purchased this mobile . Its camera is so called 5mp even qmobiles 3mp better than this. sonund quality is below average.you cannot set wallpaper for home screen other then that are preload.And today I connected it to pc via cable it automatically restarts and after the restart I found that line facebook and wallpapers for homescreen were deleted .so don't buy this so called smartphone.

there are a lot of comments about the new design of nokia asha 500, 502 and 503.
i had bought a nokia asha 501 in July and use it still bcoz of the matte finish design and it still looks fresh as new.
i bought nokia asha 500 about a week ago and believe me by now the back has got a lot of scratches though i use my mobile very caringly.
new designs are good to look at but in the long run will not sustain the wear and tear, but yes of course by putting on a back cover this can be prevented but unfortunately nokia has released the back cover only for nokia 501,502 and 503.
so to conclude i have never been a fan of glossy back cover phones and never will be. i will stick to my beloved nokia asha 501 without the so called 5 mpx camera with flash.

The design is beautiful. Camera is excellent. And it is so easy to use! If you are planning to buy a smartphone, Nokia Asha 502 is a best buy. The only downside of this phone is that it does not have the 'copy-paste' action just like any other smartphones have. But entirely this phone is great for music lovers and those who want to stay connected and online.

i bought this mobile on feb 3rd from a local mobile store for rs 5650 /-
i read many reviews before buying nokia asha 502 , i was convenced that it wont disappoint me and it will not disappoint me but i was 100% wrong its such a terrible mobile
missing some basic and important features which every mobile should have especially when you are purchasing it for more than 5 K
IT DOESNT HAVE CUT , COPY , PASTE , MARK / MARK ALL & SAVE OPTIONS
IT PROVIDES MAIL SERVICE BUT IN THAT YOU CANT ATTACH A FILE TO THE MAIL AND WHEN YOU OPEN A MAIL IT OPENS WITH A CODE ALLOVER
MESSAGING IN THIS MOBILE IS A PAIN , IT DOESNT HAVE SENT , DRAFT , INBOX OPTION
it doesnt even provide download/save option when you view a photo on facebook...etc
CHARGER (USB) :- its charger pin is to be plugged in the USB port , no otherway to charge
NOKIA MUSIC STORE PROBLEM :- there is a problem with the music store everytime i go to download it says "something went wrong" ???
OPERATING :- UI , operating is abit complicated which indeed makes the user feel irritated sometimes
CAMERA :- coming to 5 mp camera with flash ,first of all it doesnt seem to be 5 mp for sure ,by seeing the pictures one would say that 2 mp camera is better than this one !!!
and then coming to music player , i previously used to have nokia 5230 in which i used to listen to songs everyday but listening songs from this one is unbearable after 4,5 songs u will just stop the song n unplug the headphones
Battery life :- even when it comes to battery life if you use this mobile normally then only it will come for almost a day (that too with doubt)
a review which i read just now mentioning that the mobile has a scratch mark on the touchscreen and also on the cover of the mobile is true i mean even for me it happened i dont know why they transport such goods so roughly
iam a big fan of nokia iam using nokia mobiles since my graduation like nokia 3230 , nokia 108 , nokia 5230 , nokia c1-01
now all that respect i have for nokia brand has fallen to half
nokia asha 502 is a terrible mobile dont buy it

it seems like nokia 502 is more popular than nokia 503, come on guys 503 is much better than 502 as it has added advantage of gorilla glass touch screen, 3g and also 128 mb ram.
in uae 502 costs aed 345 and 503 aed 365, hardly 20 dhs. difference.
