    The Samsung j3 only a plastic phone it's self and a old one at that it does have a OLED screen though that is very premium but only 720p panel

    But yeah
    When I got the Nokia 3.1 everyone was like wow it doesn't even support feature find on budget phones from last year ago from other brands

    Nokia just seen as cheap quality when people look at them or try too use them just feel so cheap and low end
    They give impression of cheap and cheerful

      On phone teardowns

      disassemble the phone to see the aluminum frame, it's not an external frame

      Nokia c01 plus

      I take the back off just clips off
      Can change battery's easily

      The phone just feels like cheap plastic there no
      external frame made of aluminum

      The back cover act as the external plastic frame that's just clips of underneath is just the phone internals

      So the back cover basically is the frame when it's taken
      Off the phone no frame at all just screen on a body stuck onto it

      All just cheap plastic everything in the open
      Changing port at top 2 sim card slots
      It's all just cheaply made

      There is few screws I didn't have the tools too undo
      So I can only do so much plastic around the sides of the phone and on inside
      The only metal I could find was the sim card tray inside the phone as it as be opened up change a sim card

      Not really sure what you was expecting from budget Nokia Phone

        Very wide bezels for this phone. Then phone size is not 5.45 inch it should be 5.90 inch. because of the bezel size.
        Nokia 1.3 design is awesome.

                It's actually better suited for the hardware

                Often low resolution screen the 540p or 480p TFT LCD screen are easier on the hardware

                Low resolution screen Really do have a place on budget phones
                Just kinda good match for soc

                Often better optimisation then Nokia just because os choice the older os with lower screen resolution

                Nokia phones always most laggy phones
                Really frustrating how sluggish devices made by Nokia are as they run so much worse than you think

                Battery life is good but trying use them
                Just lag then ok but sooner or later they freeze up

                The Nokia c01 plus is so slow I have jump start it with it's changer just for it boot up the os on Androidgo otherwise it's not even able power on it's own

                That was a painful day when I thought if I just turn it on or off I get it unfreeze till got home

                It had 70%/60% battery the minute it turned on as it had nearly full charge
                It definitely had battery life

                  The Nokia 3.1 does definitely have a aluminium frame

                  I remember when I first got the Nokia 3.1 first thing we noticed was gives of the impression of being very cheap and cheerful

                  The thing we was surprised by is it doesn't say when it's changing or not someone we come expected from cheaper budget phones from 5 years ago

                  It feels cheaply made and squishy
                  It looks and feels more budget than it is

                  The software feels cheap as well just Nokia doesn't reflect premium in any way shape or form

                  Even the changing port at the top of Nokia c01 plus just like true ultra budget phone

                  They won't brought for there quality by me price was the main selling point too them

                  Nokia is cheapest budget phones in the UK that can be found new with bezel screen The low asking price is reason I buy them

                  disassemble them
                  Possibly in future when battery change is needed

                  I can't find any metal in Nokia c01 plus
                  That's got a removable battery not anything premium about it

                  I could of gotten a more premium built phone but settled with cheap at the time

                  I just preferd the cheapest option available that turned out too be Nokia

                    the other factor that makes that chipset run smoother is the screen resolution. 540p performs great like in galaxy j2 prime.

                      Even the cheapest Nokia phones ever made (C1, C2, 1, 1 Plus) have an aluminum inner frame. If you get to disassemble them, you can clearly notice the frame

                        The mediatek a22 in the Alcatel 2022 is a lot more powerful than mtk 6737

                        The a22 has actually won a compassion
                        It beats the mt6750 also

                        This doesn't reflect how good the a22 chipset is
                        But just how bad the others really are

                          It's a soc that's very common in generic phones
                          Many of the fake clones use this mediatek processor
                          It was a old mid range soc

                          Sure is very low end soc today though
                          Running up-to-date os on this device

                          The no-name clone phones might actually be smoother than this just because android 6 actually belong on this mediatek mt6737 soc
                          But hmd global put the Nokia brand name on it

                          If £50 phone I guess it's ok
                          The ram & storage amount is good keeping price point in mind
                          If selling for just £50

                          But I got a Nokia 3.1 new for that price a year ago with nearly twice the performance on benchmarks have mt6750 but is 16rom/2ram
                          So yeah

                              At least 2gb ram is usable for the basics
                              But sluggish

                                Brudder, 24 Feb 2023I am sorry friend but I can only answer that I agree what o... moreno technical skill and knowledge?? seriously?? how would you tolerate basic needs with 1.4ghz quad core cpu and 32gb storage???!! 5mp rear camera in 2023 is disgustang. imagine if its priced at 130 euros. wouldnt be worth it at all. would easily beat this by galaxy a03..
                                this would be probably useful for a door stopper. or even better, external webcam.

                                    Seeing input on actual budget phones you're topical average person can actually afford

                                    In theory this phone should be ok
                                    32/2 is usable? With Androidgo edition?

                                    The 1gb ram capacity phones are basically e-waste even androidgo can't save them
                                    Nokia c01 plus=crap

                                    however this has 2gb ram capacity so does good software optimization finally come into play with more usable hardware specs??

                                    I hope people actually give genuine reviews of the user experience on them as phones like there's get a lot of interest from buying who don't know how good or bad they are
