Don, 19 Aug 2022Yes! Exactly! This phone is ridiculously slow. I wasn'... morehands down the absolute worst phone I have ever possessed. upon writing in this one last message on this Nokia I plan to obliterate it with a large sledgehammer. my new I've been using Android phones since the beginning and this particular phone is the absolute worst phone I've ever owned or seen used. I made the mistake of buying a Nokia based upon my nostalgia for the old phones from the 90s. again the worst fucking phone I've ever owned is caused me a great deal of grief and Nokia should be embarrassed that they put this garbage onto the market. again don't buy this phone don't trade for this phone don't own this phone it is absolutely a complete mess and awful device.

Well for its price it is the bare minimum, are there better picks? Yeah but it gets the job done unless Nokia still has slow AF software.

I wasn't using anything fancy before this, but this phone is much slower than the basic Samsungs and similar which I was using before. Inexpensive but the frustration level is very high.

Just got one of these on sale for $29.99 at target, total wireless carrier. Not intending on activating it on there though, not sure if it’s locked. A couple things:

Battery is 3000mah (typical), but 2920mah rated.
No updates out of the box for the OS, but plenty for apps.
Phone self installs several apps as part of setup in the background (several crappy games and TikTok, which I promptly uninstalled.
Only bloatware I see on it are Facebook, and some that I can’t tell if they’re part of stock Android 12 (I don’t normally use android so idk what’s in a stock rom). Disabled several of these and it works fine still.
It is VERY slow to charge, only being able to charge at 5 watts as far as I can tell, which will take about 5 hours.
Face unlock seems to work well, but the setup was a little cumbersome, not like Face ID on iOS. A fingerprint reader would be better.

That’s all I can find for now, will update if I can activate it on a different carrier.

Really disappointed that the C100 is not available in the UK. It feels like a cartel that no manufacturer offers a phone with less than a 6.5" display and full Android in the UK. These 6.5" phones are too big to keep easily in a pocket.

The C100 looks like a really decent effort at a reasonably sized phone with full Android. Please, Nokia, reconsider and introduce it in the UK!

The Nokia c100 would most likely be similar level of stock android software

Though I have seen worse on other people's phones from different brands there not even running stock android they have custom Fancy ul and skin's and often unwanted apps
And are missing basic function like a app draw being removed and everything in wrong place and modified in some weird way

My Nokia 3.1 is 100% bloatware free and is the gold standard for stock android software

I much dislike the task of having too clean a smartphone of apps or missing basic function like app draw

My previous Samsung had Microsoft, Google, Hancom apps and even the original Facebook app (which was close to 1.5GB when I retired my older phone) but the app storage stayed untouched in the tiny storage even if they were disabled. And the worst part is that there was only 700MB as free storage in it!!!

Please check and tell me if it has only 4kb reserved for fb lite 😄👍

I did a full review of it on its page

I regret it though it don't meet my needs I wish I got the 2gb modal that am really Tempted by

1gb ram turned into my only problem with it
1gb ram is just no go for me I leaned
Android-Go turned out be a really good os like Android-One its a favorite is mine also

Not sure what I will do
next year Nokia might release a 3gb or 4gb Nokia c01 plus second edition so I don't want too completely break the bank on this smartphone if new modal comes out with twice the specs for a lower price

Though I will have too buy the phone again when I saved up money pay the price premium or wait till next year

Live and learn value for money not always the best if it can't meet your needs
Always buy a step up from what you think you will need

I don't know what the problem is, but these phones are incredibly slow. I tried doing a factory reset, and that had no effect. Straight out of the box it is extremely slow. Slow to answer calls, slow to take a picture, slow to enlarge the screen when you tap on it three times. I've had several very cheap phones, and every one of them has been significantly faster than this one. Too bad. My very first non-smart phone with a Nokia way back when cell phones first became popular, so the Nokia brand has nostalgia for me. Not anymore. Buyer beware.
