It looks OK for me
There is a few versions of this smartphone
The cheap one is 16gb storage/ 1 GB ram that is affordable I can find it many places too buy from new
I do game so the 1gb ram would be problematic
Will androidGo be a good thing or not ?
I rather the OS as light as possible and too use minimum possible of my ram & storage
I do need use the Google app store
But I use alternative app stores as well I need I use uptodown app store & aptoide app store as well
I sideload a lot of stuff
Can you sideload apps on androidGo ?
I gotten into games like polywar mobile legions doom GTA vice city GTA 3 nes & saga games etc
I would play genshon impact if only it didn't have crazy system requirements :(
I own the Nokia 3.1 but the 3gb ram/32gb storage modal was sold out so I have the 16 storage with 2gb ram wanted the better version
My main problem is the OS takes up like 14gb of storage after all updates are finished android 8 upgraded too android 10 fixed all bugs added better multi tasking
So I only have 2gb storage free too play with for games
Ran usage the os is better then any other smartphone I used but still android OS is always using ram in the background just to function
I have 300mb free ram

you have to suffer, 10 Jul 2022sadly my country where i live doesnt sell these kind of dev... moreThe biggest problem with Xiaomis are that they have ads, to much bloatware and doesn't last really long. But I believe most countries sell Nokia phones, unless it's a super-limited market such as Korea or Japan

This phone is Garbage! It's the worst phone that I've ever had. It takes up to 10 - 20 seconds to pull up the text. It freezes and lags very bad. My 90s phone back in the day ran faster than this trash. It's so slow that I miss phone calls when I try to answer them. I have to call people back because it's too slow to answer. This was straight out of the box. I'll never buy a Nokia product again. The phone that I had before this one was a $20 LG phone and it was a super computer compared to this trash phone.

If i... moreYou can go for the slightly older Nokia C01 Plus if the C100 isn't available, or even more older models such as Nokia 2.3, 3.2 (they aren't the best for gaming so keep that in mind), 4.2, 5.3, 6.2 etc. If it's possible, you can go for the Nokia 8 released in 2017.
Also Samsung makes good camera lenses, ssds and durables but terrible smartphones, judging by the ones I've owned and the ones I've tested, even those M series, A series etc are terrible in terms of user experience

so samsung is really bad ? Ok
samsung j3 is very slow and freeze up always
all of the samsung j3 phones slow family had a few of them
I don't think much of Samsung phones either or owned one but have used them
I have had a mostly good time with Samsung SSDs for laptops have had many ssd from Samsung
big sample size i have personal experience with however i never used a ssd from another brand only memory sticks from samdisk unbranded & PNY
PNY memery stick slow & dead after a 3 mouths Samdisk was mostly good
unbranded sometimes my data gets corrupted
I have never had a sd card from Samsung or any brand am not sure if its just the samsung is just really bad at making phones or if there just a bad brand
does this mean the avoid the cheap

Also on a side note, avoid buying and/or recommending any Samsung phone. No matter how good their marketing is and how overpriced their models are, they don't age well (also from my personal experience). Their quality went down the drain since the Note7 explosions

yes that's a really good point good stock android software nokia phones also update too newer versions of android something i really do like
Having a phone i can keep forever is much better too me then something that die after 2 years
for me a smartphone is always useful too have even when obsolete as long as it works

You're paying a tiny bit extra for a phone with no ads and bloatware, and it's worth it. And not to mention, a removable battery with 4000mAh capacity which itself is a rarity nowadays!!!

The nokia does run android 12 that is one version newer
There is one problem with the TCL A3 smartphone it should be even cheaper
scalpers 40 pound is the there price
i think it was 30 pound 1 years again
I do wonder what corners where cut too get the price so low back then

The nokia c100 does cost more yeah
I do trust the nokia brand and want my phone stay up too date for as long as possible
would the nokia c100 be a better long term decision ?
A problem i do have with both phones is i need them unlocked so if i can't buy either what do i get ?
you did say a old flagship would be good a HTC one m9 cheap it is possible i might find one worth getting my only problem with the htc one m9 is the very low ifixit rating
Another possible phone i can find is a generic smartphone and not have too pay for a branding and the phone name too get phone cheaper
generic smartphones do fit in my price range
the soyes i11s looks good
there is also s22 ultra
if anyone knows of any really cheap suggested them
my mum is also looking for a cheap smartphone as well

oppo a3s i can't find anyway too buy
realme c3 nearly 200 pound :(
The redmi 5a is pricely too may be full of bloatware i think this brand best avoided

I did find a new TCL A3 cheap 40 pound but wound need unlocked

Just bought this phone 3 days ago. Very slow and very laggy. Apps cut out at random after just a few minutes or seconds in some cases. If u don't mind browsing and everything else having several seconds of delay between you hing the screen and anything happening than this phone is fine for u but I wish I would've spent the extra ten bucks and gotten a different phone :(

In any case your device is, by design, about to die. Either because the components start failing or because the battery is just dead. This leaves aside even getting such a phone in any kind of reasonable condition.
Why isn't *anyone* making sensible phones?

Sin, 02 Jul 2022The nokia c100 looks like a ok budget smartphone only probl... moreget an old model like redmi 5a, oppo a3s, and realme c3. even though they use micro usb but its worth the price. their performance are quite decent. they no longer recieve updates though. or... if you dont care about security updates you can install some custom roms. like lineage os. redmi note 4 is the only the best cheap midranger. but used conditions.
