For me this is a handy phone and cheap. Just got it form RM110. Agreed with the sound leakage through the back of the phone and it's even clearer to listen through the back of the phone which means there will be no privacy as people can hear what you're talking. Plus the ringing volume sucks when people call you. i set it to volume 4 and it takes 2 - 3 seconds to ring the volume to volume 4 (ascending ringing) and it cannot be changed perhaps it's made so. Keypad is sucky too especially the call, enter, back and off button as the spaces between those buttons were so small sometimes i even pressed call and enter together. Loudspeaker sucks kinda squeaky when i turn the radio on via Loudspeaker but it's much more better use the headset.

bettery problem its does not working stand by 1008hr its just one or two day standby other wise shut down.NOkia company plz check this?

Does not work two sim card together, use one or other. So whats the point? Brand new and restart when try to choose a ring tone. Trash your money buying it.

This phone is is useless, Ear piece sound is not clear. Keypad is really bad for messaging and no dual sim standby. Buy a china cell phone in same price having dual sims standby, memory card support and larger screen.

Due to design of this phone, when making a phone call sound comes out from the back of the phone (you can actually see the speaker if you remove the back cover) even if loudspeaker is set to off. Sound quality during phone call is actually better if you turn the phone over and stick your ear to the back of the phone, which makes you look like an idiot!
I put some tape on the speaker under the back cover, and now the sound from the front is much better, louder and I don't have nearby people listening at my calls, but the ringtones are too low, because
there seems to be just one speaker for ringtones and calls. This sucks!
Also, I hate that during standby the screen turns off. Now clue on missed calls and missed messages. You have to press a button to turn screen on and check. This also sucks. And that's probably one of the reasons why battery lasts so long.
But I still like the design, battery life and having 2 sims (even though only one at a time is active)

Sudden restart problem solved after keeping "Info Service" off from message settings.

I've been using HTC Wildfire and I just bought this Nokia C1 phone few hours ago as my secondary basic phone. Sometimes smart phone feels not smart enough for basic operations like make a phone call, change a SIM quickly, long talk & standby time etc.. This set seems have a good build quality. Didn't like the keypad though, a bit hard and rubber like. I'm glad it has a radio and flash light too. I think it'd be much better for rough use if it were water proof.

i agree 100%
1. Sudden restart while working with the phone
2. Signal dropping (abnormally)
3. poor sound quality
4. Bad loud speaker
5. super slow!! to read & delete one sms it takes about 40 seconds, driving you mad while having lots of messages, while the good old 1102 is so much faster and the keypad so much more comfortable..
6. keypad is a night mare, you need to use your finger nail and really focus to get the right button pressed
why not have use the good old black and white screen and keypad from the 1102??

i use as my spare phone, and it is very effective! it does not have fancy app's but it works well as a handset. it is very light, has not failed in function and the duel sim function came in very handy when i went on holidays. Both my girlfriend and i were both contactable through the one handset. The flashlight is also bright and usefull.
