you say the battery only lasts for 3 days?
that's not what the specs say on the nokia sites, right
i'm actually waiting to buy this new mobile phone because it's not expensive but still has a lot of features although I urgently need a new one but I can't find another one with the same things on it, do you?

Brother, Nokia is Nokia, No other company in this world can challenge Nokia.Bcoz all nokia fones use same chargers(2mm),easily available of bodies,easy repairing,3.5mm jack,common battries,etc.
So all these things make Nokia Perfect.
Sony Erricson,Samsung,Blackberry,LG,etc they all have different chargers & batteries,therefore they r not perfect.

So its a nice buy in its price range. But much worried about chinese made mother board and processor. I don't trust Nokia C-series phones because they are using low quality components to reduce the price. Don't go for Sony Ericsson phones also. They lost their quality because SE phones are now made by another manufacturer from China. Buy a genuine Blackberry and enjoy the rest of the life...

Nice fone, each keypad is single,FM recording,slim & compact,3.5mm jack is universal jack,every headfone or speaker of this world could be easily attached into 3.5mm jack.Allover Ultimate Cell By Nokia.

i guess this is one of nokia budget phones wc s very suspenseful in its release...ironically it has already received lots of positive n negative comments/opinions even if its not released yet!some say that nokia budget phones made in euro countries r much more better than asian made....this is so very very awfully n disgustingly unfair for us asians buying your nokia budget phones!

First of all I must say this is a basic phone and dont expect too much as that of a smart phone. I think I'm very lucky to write the worlds first user review about Nokia C1-02. The most outstanding thing I found in this phone is its exceptional loud speaker. I opened the handset in enthusiasm and found that the loud speaker and the audio chipset is made by Altec-Lansing, the pioneer in sophisticated sound systems. The next big thing is the flawless support to 16 gb Nokia micro sd card. The in ear headphones I got with this model is poor and I replaced it with a Sennheiser in ear bass blaster. The 6th edition S40 OS performing well in the ARM-9 architecture chipset and all the connectivity options performs well. Battery lasts for 3 days in normal usage and keypad shrinks well with non stop typing. This phone produces excess heat while using bluetooth and gprs and the java games got struck with the new s40 lite platform, thou I got a recent update thru FOTA. Signal strength and fm radio is gud even in weaker reception areas and the built quality is exceptional but comprimising at the resolution of the display. In short a good phone for excess sms and chattin. Another work horse from Nokia...

I am a Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 user and in one of my recent visit to Finland, I visited the Nokia factory and get impressed by the way they test their devices before launch. The R&D manager was impressed by my enthusiasm to share ideas to make perfect devices and he gifted me with a brand new Nokia C1-02. I was so happy to put my hands on a yet to be released model and he put his respective signature at the back panel of the phone. Its a perfect basic phone and another working horse 2.
